That’s awesome @Ranvir ! I’m impressed
I’m also happy I managed to stick to top 10k for rare and top 5k for epic.
decided to let legendary go, I normally aim for too 10k, didn’t feel like trying this time

More damage battle items use compared to the previous Challenge Event (CF1) due to different style of play for high score and also early experimentation before finding the best strategy. On the flip side, saved up on minor mana and mana potions and WE flasks as this was less of a charge up your damage dealer type of event.
With the 2 most important events in the calendar passed, time to start crafting for next month’s Tower and CE.
Only the second time I’ve made top 100 in a challenge event. Both times in rare. This cemented my decision of a few weeks ago to focus 100% on my rare roster and have fun again.
With participation down I only had to run through epic and legendary once to hit the 5K/10K tiers which I’m satisfied with.
I didn’t mind the challenge and change in strategy required. But I know I am one of the very few. And fully expect it to change next time for the benefit of all!
I finished all 3 but I did not enjoy this event as currently run.
I was able to reach 1k rare for the second time in my life
This happened due to low participation than my skills
I enjoyed this event. At last something challenging .
My results are poor, but I’m happy I managed to finish all stages (although had to buy back on 9th and 10th Legendary).
For future reference:
Rare was easy: No items, tried several teams.
Epic was hard:
Team: Shrubbear, Scoratek, c2 Li Xiu, cChao, c2 Rigard
Items: Bombs, mana pots, revive scrolls
Shrub was sturdy enough to survive gargoyles firing. Or not so there were revive scrolls
Legendary was crazy:
Team: c2 Li Xiu - Jequn/Kemény/Kara/cChao - Khepri - c2 Rigard
Items: Dragon attacks, mana pots, revive scrolls, timestops
It was all about firing c2 Li Xiu, timestops and Khepri simultanously. Power gems was helping with removing skins. On 9th stage, Khepri had to fire at flank, because of dark reflect.
Wish I had more time for do it on my alt and for grinding. I’m waiting for next occurence of this event
Congrat , and glad to know you enjoy it !
(Me too except for the summon )
I’ve been tracking my challenge event scores since November 2019 and I’ve now failed to get top 10K in Legendary 4 times.
1 This month for the initial run of return to sanctuary.
2 The weekend I got married and didn’t play much for a few days.
3 The week I was in Disneyworld and didn’t play much for an entire week
4 November 2019, the first month I recorded. At the time I may have only had one legendary hero leveled.
This was tough. I’m not really looking forward to the event returning, but I do want to see my score improve.
Didn’t play much means I probably did war hits and maybe at least one titan hit a day.
Continuing the discussion from Calendar of Events for June 2024 :
But why?! We have so many challenge events…
Maybe they have tuned it down, and want us to check it ?
Hahahaha. Good joke.
Edit: if they would ever tune it down, they will create a huge PR post about how they care about us and some more bs
Because there are plenty of unreleased gargoyles that will make some for them.
Sadly this is the only reason.
I’m super curious to see how (less) awful this event may become… especially after getting this message:
They did not mention on playerS feedback… so if one player said it was too easy, they might have just made it more difficult…
Reading the rules it doesn’t look like anything changed except putting a cap on counter damage.
If nothing else changed, I won’t be playing. My time is too valuable.
I don’t understand. In the epic I have C Griffin who should bypass defensive buffs but still nearby allies take damage from the counter attack?
I just cleared rare stages without using any items at all. So it seems very much easier to play now.
It’s pretty much like any other challenge event now. Mindless autoplay and the mind boggles why they put “challenge” in the title. There’s no challenge here.
Just one gamer’s opinion
