There should be a middle option. Iā€™m not particularly excited about it but itā€™s early yet. And this is still considered beta testing so it could change.

At the minute i am liking it iv got some sort of game plan for it ā€¦ My alliance in hard mode :muscle:

Also gonna let this topic stand and can we keep it to topic aswell, (its really just yes no neutral) there will be a feed back topic on the monster island once its finished global beta.

Cant say i love it but at least isnā€™t ANOTHER challenge event.

My alliance is sent to hard mode but i doubt thatā€™s fair.

Itā€™s an open beta for testing but energy is a lot limited soā€¦ canā€™t really test it freely.

I dislike it but at the same time i dont careā€¦ lol. At least itā€™s different and Iā€™m sure other players will enjoy it - if others are happy, Iā€™m happy.

Besides Iā€™m not sharing feedback, expensively playing it or hunting bugs. Theyā€™ll be ignoring every feedback like always. War of three kingdom for exampleā€¦ they put all their energy in creating OP heroes for the portal and left the event incredibly boring and wasted all the feedback.

Not using my time on it because they just donā€™t deserve it.

Also it feels like another furnace for items and time. Rewards will probably be a chest full of farmable items that i already own 2000x each. And Iā€™m cutting screen time from this game because itā€™s just not healthy anymore.

So far, Iā€™m enjoying this new concept for an event! The general consensus within our alliance was starting with a lot of intial confusion and many mistakes / errors, but weā€™re learning and using this opportunity to review our own strategies. Itā€™s definitely bringing the more active people together, but I do worry that it will scare off some of the less active members as they may miss some of the ā€œdirections / instructionsā€ for flag usage.

Oriontronā€™s suggestion earlier int he thread was bang on though, and the difficulty is definitely too high in terms of thea mount of damage that monsters can do - particularly when you add on such punishing amounts of permanent damage too.

I like that it is different. The difficulty is super hard and the alliance leader should have more control over his alliance in this event. An a$$hat can wreck everything with their stupidity and mistakes if they donā€™t listen or follow instructions. Alliance leader should be able to do something other than simply kicking them from alliance.

Suggestions include role assignments such as:
Explorer - Allowed to spend energy on new tile movements
Attack- Allowed to engage monsters
Attack x 2 - Allowed to attack more than once
etc

event is too hard.

it is so fast all my 5* roster consumed and unusable.

difficulties should be toned.

the event itself okay as game variety

I canā€™t see my alliance being overly enthused about this. About 1/3 donā€™t participate in wars. Seems more like an upper-level dedicated alliance type thing. So pretty much in line with most of the new content lately.

Edit: having now played a bit I will say:

  1. The concept is interesting.
  2. It does not really feel to me like E&P at all. More like one of those ā€œmini game adsā€ we keep getting in Mystic Vision.

I like event but heroes shoud be healed to max health after 24h so more players can enjoy whole event.

Itā€™s different, I like the exploring thing and how the longer you stay out the ā€œweakerā€ you get as you burn through items and take damage. Feels quite RPG to me. The hordes dropping in was different as wellā€¦

I like how you need to set a team up to either horde hunt or Titan hunt.

However if your Alliance isnā€™t that into it this is going to be rubbish. If your alliance is really into it and is exploring as a group itā€™s the most fun Iā€™ve had in a while on this.

I mean itā€™s roster dependent really. Iā€™m going to be able to go and ā€œrefuelā€ and freshen up if I want to.

But again I think itā€™s all down to communication.

I can hunt hordes for the first half and have zero issues and then refuel at base camp and hunt Titans the second half and have zero issues.

Iā€™m probably in the upper quartile for Roster though so as always YMMV.

But for an active alliance I can see this being really enjoyable as you flip roles and help each other through it

this event seems for whales with deep roster as it consumes 5* so quick.

I donā€™t like the permanent damage, even with overhealing if you get hit beforehand you still retain damageā€¦ I donā€™t like that they made minionā€™s make you receive double damage. If it was more like first beta where you can regain health through overhealing on hordeā€™s I think I would like this more, right now feels like it is going to be a drain.

I was certainly more excited about it from reading it initially, the changes from the first beta made it worse.

Not very happy right now. my alliance canā€™t participate. Active during preparation phase? As leader I saw no opt-in options and we definitely active.

I know ppl say this beta so maybe it will be open to all next go around. Otherwiseā€¦

Itā€™s been psoted by countless others around here and on various other topics, but the beta was limited to alliances which had a score of 120,000 or higher. An announcement was made by staff on the forums before then.

The message in game is just a standard message and was not adjusted for the beta purposes.

It should be open for many many more alliances when it goes live :slight_smile:

The only part I donā€™t like is having to go back to base all the time. I can kind of get changing teams, but having to refill items is a pain in the ā– ā– ā– . Either allow more items like in Contest of Elements, or add a few provisional camps through the map where you can refill for a cost (that would be lower than returning to base and back).

Idea: maybe add possible action ā€œstrike campā€, that will cost for example 100 energy, can be executed on empty fields, and will change the field where player is located into a ā€œcampsiteā€ that is workind like the original campsite.

Permanent damage really sucks. There would be like a field hospital to recover full hp heroes, with its costs
