Will trade a red one today for pepper flame and all those cool red sorcerers that need a stat boost for offense (Hathor, Ray, Hypnos). Unfortunately I did not have luck during the monk/sorcerer portal with red so did not really have a other choice here.
I did the Wizard/Ranger one, the choice were easy as I use C.White Rabbit, C2.Leonidas and C2.Li Xiu very often.
Long ago I got my Holy crit troop to 20 because it was the only element I didn’t have a mana troop and felt I was a bit behind for having poor holy troops. Then I watched for years as my holy troops continued to be behind every other element as I had less feeders, because I used them on that crit troop. Today it all worked out. Got that crit troop up, and converted into a monk/sorcerer.
Took 39 500K iron crates, all of my 1 star feeders, and some 2 star feeders and it’s maxed. Feels nice to recoup from that sunk cost.
I noticed some chatter that some folks still have a few days on their cooldown. Folks gotta move fast with this cooldown timer.
28 days from now I’ll be ready for the next conversion.
Red crit troop is level 24
Green crit troop is level 19
Blue crit troop is level 13
I have the least feeders for blue, so I expect I’ll convert a red or green next. I’ll have to figure out which class works best for me over that time.
Congrats @Ruskin505 I’m already levelling only Crit troops for the same reason.
anyone test a elemental hero that gives +100% extra damage with troop 5* crit
what kind of damage could be i wonder
I absolutely hate these troops. The two areas of the game that I enjoyed (wars and raids) have become increasingly harder because of their existence. All these years seem wasted because of these troops.
I wouldn’t worry about it… You should be worrying about your car’s extended warranty being on the verge of expiration…
I’ve a level 26 blue crit troop ready for conversion. Almost all of my blue heroes falls in these four classes. My ally is going to use a blue tank the whole next month but the +15% crit appeals me the most. Which 5* troop should I chose ?
Similar dilemma. I’d chose ice Wizard for my first. Based most impart that most of my blues are either Wizards or Rangers. That extra 8% extra attack on my Ghealach with full attack path. No regrets here…so far
So far I like the Wizard/Ranger better as hero choice. I don’t know wich heroes you have but they just seems more “special” to me. (some of them may be missing)
I think that my blue will be a Druid/Barbarian one, to boost my Mr. Pengi, C.Athena, Cel and other useful 4* heroes as C1.Sonya, C3.Grimm, Frank, Jott and… C2.Kiril, when/if I’ll get him.
Being able to assign the 5* troop to several of my blues in wizard/ranger has been helpful. It’s helped in wars as it allows me to utilize those heroes whos stats have falling behind. So far Tinsel,Milena and c.Athena all only @ first LB have benefited paired with that 5* troop. So it’s been kind of a ‘budget’ way around the bigger alpha aether investment for older heroes.
A month ago I converted a dark epic troop and used all of my feeders to level the legendary. So, I’m going to conclude that any feeders I have now, represent a rough sample of what I can get in a month. My current dark troop feeders
3 star: 1
2 star: 17
1 star: 57
That’s 8K worth of xp. What I’ll have to decide is what I want to do 4 months from now. At that point I should have one legendary troop of every element. I don’t have another epic troop that I’ll want to convert yet (and i’m not sure I want to deplete my epic troops too much further). Do I level my current Epics up? Do I level a new troop up to use as a legendary conversion?
Getting a new troop up would cost over 50K xp. Add in the legendary troop xp, and I may be looking at 6-12 months to get that legendary troop leveled. It’s a long game for sure. I guess I can just sit on those feeders for now.
I think a second legendary troop is probably the right way to go, as the general use of legendary troops is more imprortant than five star tournaments and challenge events. Feeders is my biggest bottleneck.
I kept track of my troops for 4 weeks (the data on the red troop in the last week is an average of all of the other weeks… because during that week I leveled a 4* to 27 and a 5* to 30… so it obviously isn’t reflective as it would have been a negative number.
What I found is that you get 50758.6 xp per month (of which one of those weeks was spent farming heavily in dunes. The rest of the weeks didn’t have nearly as much farming.
This data is specific to me… because I farm specifically and my hero academy is set for the 3* troop. But this is a rough data set that can perhaps be extrapolated to everyone… with the consideration that I level up about once per month… so roughly 4.5 million xp per month at my level.

I searched and did not find the answer:
For the Legendary Ranger/Wizard troops that do +8% Direct Damage from special skills:
Is it +8% damage to what would have been dealt (ie 100HP damage becomes 108 HP damage) or +8% to the special skill percent damage (so 400% damage becomes 408% damage)?
If it acts like Glenda/C2 Grimm where it adds to the % damage being dealt it will be brilliant for Farrah.
Pengi, and to a lesser extent Eset and 9HB would love it but being the wrong classes can’t…
The greatest benefit is to mult-hit heroes whereby each hit does progressively less damage, the hard coded extra damage makes a major difference in the late hits, hence Mythic Titans with Double Pengi surrounding Glenda.
9HB & Eset are a “lesser extent” because their multiple hits don’t decline in % damage dealt.
