Remember we were supposed to get a quest for aether crystals and you know how long itās been since those released. At least with that quest we had proof it was being worked on or at least an idea.

Better than me. Over 80 pulls in and zero. Should have saved my gems for something else.
Yes, I still donāt see it. They are slower than magic troops. The extra health bonus only applies to a couple specific classes, which is just another way to make you chase a full set of Legendary troops per color. And, to add insult to injury, I still get roasted in Raids against teams that have zero Legendary troops and worse, not even fully leveled good old troops. The gameplay does not make any sense. The only thing legendary about these new troops is their name.
If you can hit your mana points with a legendary troop, then you donāt lose anything.
Thatās not true. Magic troops come with 0% health bonus. All legendary troops have a health bonus.
I donāt think theyāre always superior (as you allude to with them being slower), but I also think youāre missing benefits.
There will also likely be ways of breaking the level cap. Weāll see. Iām not all that hyped about them either.

LTs being slow is an ILLUSION, bcoz they are NOT meant to give high manaā¦for which players have got Magic / Cyclops Troops.

I understand what you mean. But honestly they do feel slower to mana troops. Plus, it used to take me 6 tiles to knock tanks when paired with the right color. Now its take at least 8 tiles strangely enough.

Presumably because the tanks have these 5* troops and so have 25% more hit points than normal.
I would agree with you 100% if indeed that were always the case that opposing tanks had LT. unfortunately for me it isnāt.
Did 10 pulls. From 27 pulls in total so far (17) previously, 26 were rare troops.
Thankfully that one pull made difference. Donāt have many blue Monks or Sorcerers, though I do have Krampus, Skadi and Esme. Could max C-Rumple in theory.

If you use the Legendary troops on average or very fast heroes, the 11% mana generation will be sufficient to shave off one turn or tile to fire the heroās special earlier.
Fast heroes need a bit more, e.g. a 4% talent node emblemed (Sorcerer ,Druid or Monk), a costume bonus or a Bard bonus. So the 5* troops can be used on many fast heroes too. You get the most out of them if you have a strong healer in your team with relativ heal, e.g. Ariel. If your hero has 2000 Hp Ariel heals a bit more than 800. Now with the right troop the hero has 39% more HP, thats roughly 2800 Hp. Now Ariel heals nearly 1200 Hp! And there are stronger healers like Hathor, Cleopatra or toon Vivica. This will be the end of usage for overheal and healing over time.
We see it in wars, some defenses now eat 3-4 flags.
