Hi all - I’ve played for a few years as C2P, and my luck with summons has been average at best… so I don’t have a lot of tough defensive heroes - at least not that I see… I currently run a Reverse Double with Faline, Frigg, Aodhan (LB), C-Kadilen, and Quintus… they have their moments and usually hold me in the 2300-2500 cup range… but curious if I have a better option for synergy that might help keep me in Diamond (even if it is with 2401… ) Top roster options are below…
I’m not locked into rainbow (as you can tell from my current team), or a particular formation - Thanks for any advice/thoughts…
C marjana, frig, Alexandrian, C kad, Fallin. 
Reverse double formation.

I would use a reverse V- formation with: Faline,cKad,cMarjana, Frigg, Alexandrine.

A mono player with many options….nice, but you have to be open with the heroes that you take fave to. Not saying the rainbow thing isn’t effective, to each their own, you could try mixing up an offensive/defensive team & it doesn’t matter the formation…. remember whatever makes sense to you that can get you in that top ranking ya know, a feel for testing them to get that feeling of being untouchable. As for the formation try 3-2 or 2-3 or a 2-1-2 combo of your favorite heroes color or any stronger heroes of your favorite color it helps a lot knowing which different heroes work well together!!! When Frigg goes off, you want C. Marjana/Faline to finish off the opponent. This is for a standard formation.
Faline, Frigg, C. Marjana, Malicna, Alex
This is reverse formation.

I’m gonna suggest (in reverse formation):
Frigg-Malicna-C.Marjana/Aodhan-C.Kadilen-Faline
Don’t love this, as if you’re gonna stack greens - with Frigg being one of em (therefore, the opponent will wanna stack greens also) - would rather there be a stronger red tank to support them, or two reds to compensate and put pressure. Would also make C. Marjana more impactful [paired with another fire], as well as encourage a blue stack (also), which she would punish.
However, I don’t really see an option here in order to make that work. Your best defensive heroes are Frigg and C. Kadilen + Faline is solid too, so they are musts to have in there. The other two slots are up for debate… & I chose based on speed and/or effect
Least this way, stacking greens has no real benefit aside from lessening Frigg’s punishment, as there are no ice heroes to stack versus

Your nature heroes are all good to great, so it’s too bad stacking colors becomes a hindrance defensively, as even MN, or Telluria, are better SS options (via their SS) than some of these others.
Faline is the stand-out Holy in your roster, and I cannot think of any situation where you’d choose any of these other heroes over her.
Malicna can be devastating, albeit random, so your best purple option imo; Quintus is too slow, and Sartana’s stats lack without her costume.
Red is either C. Marjana or Aodhan, however the former suffers from the aforementioned shortcomings, and the latter has a difficult time shining without 1. Other Slayers and/or 2. Other Fiend makers/HP stealers/reduced Healing received. Khagan would entice me if he had a costume or better stats, but otherwise, he’s just too slow to manage. & Nemo is easy to work around defensively.
As for your ice options, not a fan of any tbh. Alexandrine doesn’t work well with Frigg, as they’re gonna wanna bring greens (not blues); works well with C. Marjana, but again, wanna encourage an ice stack to make that work, meaning two fire heroes. As for the rest, Isarnia is too slow (albeit devastating, if given the opportunity to fire). Richard is quite tanky, but not dangerous enough; he makes a solid option as a tank, if you were to run a formation that requires one, but otherwise, doesn’t quite fit either.

Hi Randa - Thank you for the great analysis and thoughts! Regarding what you noted above, what about a line-up (Reverse V, as you suggested) of Frigg, Mal, C-Marj, Faline, Aodhan? (or, if I want a bit more defensive help, swap Faline out for C-Kad)… That lineup could get a dual red in like you mentioned, and Aodhan’s skill of 210% damage to all could do extra damage with C-Marj’s EDD added. But igiven my roster makeup, I think my best defense might be a good offense, so that is why I’m giving Faline the initial nod…

I don’t know why on earth you have Quintus in your defense when he’s a slow POS and you have amazing other heroes.
Quintus was there because of the hit all, and he hits reasonably hard, and he could take advantage of Frigg’s D-Down (if RNG times them right). That is also why Faline is on Left Wing… since she only hits target and neighbors, Quintus benefits more from a same turn skill fire if Frigg fires before him. Mal was out for the same reason (hit 3 as opposed to hit all).
No particular order, but you have to get your best heroes out there. Frigg, Alex, C Marjana, C Kad, Faline. The weakest of those to me is Alex, so that could be changed. Need to max those 4

Hmm, I see what you’re saying here, and good thoughts/points too. I like your suggestion, and I’ll also add a few of my own:
If you would be willing to double up, how about:
Frigg-C. Marjana-Faline-C. Kadilen-Aodhan
Since reverse doesn’t really have a “tank” per se, I think one could justify using Faline in the middle. & That way, you are able to utilize the best of the best [in your roster].
Although, having the double greens is a lil worrisome, as it may encourage a red stack instead of blue
So then there’s also:
Frigg-C. Marjana-Alexandrine-Faline-Aodhan
Hmm, what about this? Hate leaving C. Kad out of the running, but man, it pushes, and punishes, an ice stack, while also tempting someone to bring greens, despite having no strong advantage (although, a lil more with Alex in play)

I’m not confident of Aodhan’s abilities without the aforementioned pairings, but I may be underestimating his abilities here, as I see he’s not only maxed and emblemed, but LB as well - therefore one of your strongest. So, in my opinion, he’s worth trying on defense paired with your C. Marjana (just to see)

Thanks again, and I think I’ll give this one a shot… agree about C-Kad, but even with max emblems, she still sometimes hits like a mosquito… As for Aodhan, normally I’d agree, as I don’t like slow heroes on D… but once he gets the slayer stacking going, he can hold his own with the mana and heal boosts. And with emblems/LB, he’s as strong as some 5s (828 power, 813/779/1524). Was almost tempted to switch C-Marj and Frigg, then put him in the center/tank, but with how hard it is to hit center on reverse, I think Alexandrine (and her healing) will be more important.
This will probably be good for a month or so… RNGesus smiled on me and I pulled C-Krampus… so once I get him maxed, I’ll be revisitng things… lol (still got a ways to go on that though - got the feeders, but need the ham). Thank you again!

6-7 since the change, but no real pattern other than typical EnP/RNG randomness. The oddest (to me) thing I noticed - I’ve been attacked more often by rainbow teams than mono teams…Lots of 2 stacks of varying colors also.
