Hello all,
This is my first post, although I’ve lurked here for years.
Would you limit break Freya or Morax? I have enough purple aethers to do one, and dont anticipate getting any new dark 5 stars anytime soon.
Depends what you want the hero for.
Freya is a more defensive hero, Morax is rather offensive. If you already have LBd heroes for your def team and need more firepower for attack - go for Morax. If you are still building your def team - Freya is your girl.
Thank you for your response. I do have a strong lineup for attack, being i’ve played for years as a F2P, and have been lucky to get some generous summons.
I think i would like to make my defense stronger. I play around w my defense lineup, but currently have all LB, the following… MN, Kalo, Ludwig (double LB to 90), Pengi, and Quenell. Not sure where she would fit there, so suggestions will be welcomed!
I don’t have Morax, and haven’t faced him (?) often.
But Freya is actually GREAT on offense. Her minions are beefy and hit pretty hard for minions. I use Freya frequently on offense in Events and such. (She was a brute on Monster Island, for example)
As this is your defense I agree that Freya (my own defensive tank) would be difficult to work in unless you intend to flip back and forth depending upon the war/event rules. With this being the case and Morax (good but not game changing) your only other option, I would hold off until the after the dark super elemental portal (next month I think) and see if your fortune in the portals holds up.
Good luck with whichever path you choose!
I have a fully maxed out Freya. use her on my offense team, but I think HV meant she is mainly a counter attacker/defense player. The ravens don’t rack up points until the other team is hitting you. Also, she is killer against titans. especially if you can get 2-3 of them up and running from the start per hero
Thank you guys!
What you all say makes sense. Perhaps i can hold off until the next event and hope to get another dark 5*, although i dont have enough gems accumulated lately, having used them for a previous summons event of 2600 gems for 10 pulls. However, if i was to LB, it looks like Freya would be the one.
Absolutely right. I was thinking mainly about PvP - as this is usually the main motivator for ascending/LBing heroes - and just left the large area of PvE. On PvE Freya is great and Morax is just another good hit-3 hero we have lots of.
Really? Haven’t tried this. But from my experience minion summonners are not very good in timed events - the additional tile matches you could do in time used up by minion animations would do much more damage than the small bites done by the minions.
I thought that too, but Freya improved my titan scores significantly (only yellow titans).
Every turn her ravens deal 100-300 damage each (depends how many of them you have, I fight 10-11* titans) and regardless if you have tiles or not… Of course if you have all top heroes Freya won’t be good, but I don’t have them so my team currently is C.Rigard, Cheshire Cat, 2C. Domitia, Arfanias, Freya.
I advice to try her in a few attacks, she made my team much stronger.
I’ll probably do it. My current team is Rigard-Sergey-Tiburtus-Meadow-Merlin, so far from top
On next yellow I will put her in place of Meadow and see what happens.
I didn’t expect that on titan the damage will be so big - on the S3 bosses, much smaller than a titan, they deal only about 50 dmg each.
Freya, no doubt, for attack or defense. My Freya is waiting on one more purple aether, but even at 80+20 she’s amazing on offense. I don’t use her for defense, but she might be a pain there, too. She is my only fated summons hero up to this point and I have no regrets for choosing her.
Aside from the interesting Titan advice, minion creators on defense just help me out. Alucard, Roughian and Viselus make short work of those minions and give health and mana boosts to my team.
Of course they can be countered - but how many minion counters do you have?
For me it is now on 5* level R&N x2 and Gefjon - and they remove minions only from one. Plus some 4*, who are better at fighting minions, but less survivable and with less overall strength. So I can build 4 antiminion teams (and still not very good at it) at max, for 6 war attacks. Or 12 W3K attacks…
Alucard and Viselus remove them from 3 enemies at a time. And Alucard has V Fast Mana, so can do it fairly regularly whilst boosting health and mana of my team while doing it. I have Alucard maxed, but Viselus is still on the way up.
I have Morax maxed with emblems as I have a lot of tabards and a lot of sorcerer emblems. With that, he is very solid on a secondary team. Not great, but very useful for a variety of events that demand a deep roster. I like having him, but don’t see limit breaking him.
I picked Bera over Freya from Fated Summon as I have a lot more monk emblems than druid emblems to work with. I agree with others that minion makers are easily countered. I picked Bera to create minions fast for Pengi, not because having all those minions was going to be a great way to go in general.
I’m sitting on a lot of purple aethers right now, but I don’t see a reason to lb a hero just because I can. For me, the additional resources in time and feeders just don’t seem worth it.
I use Freya and Khufu on every attack that doesn’t shield their colors. Yellow and Green titans I score close to 90k damage a turn. the other three titans close to 50k. the key is to get all 15 ravens up as soon as possible. if you have the 100% mana potions, use three on her right away and then a tornado or hurricane on the others. Remember too their damage is a percentage of the attack. and every raven adds 120% to the attack. a titan is going to swing harder than a season boss.
If using Freya for titans requires this amount of battle items to be used it is a “no, thank you”.
I can get ~50K results with using only one dragon banner and some small antidotes (and sometimes change scroll if tiles are very unfavorable).
