Leadria or Telluria

Hi, it’s me again

Even though I’m not going to use either of them now, still got me thinking.

2020 HOTM vs 2023 HOTM

which one is better for a defense team? As a tank or a flank?

Telluria looks good compared to Leadria.

what do you think?

Yeah, Leadria on defense => easy tile dump till you charge up to wipe…well with Telluria, she might cripple your mana a bit whereas Leadria does nothing.
I won’t put Leadria on defense at all! Neither Tel.

I find the votes results kind of strange and misleading
Telluria is outdated yes but at least she does some damage and her minions too
She heals a bit and she cripples the opponent mana
Leadria is crap

I would opt for Leadria between these two. She’s today’s hero with today’s stats. Tel is 832 defense at max and Leadria is 979. That is a big difference. A healer who can’t stick around doesn’t really work out too well.

Tel does a bunch of things, but none really well. Her heal isn’t as big as others, the damage is small, and the mana effect only lasts 2 rounds. This doesn’t make her awful, just not an obvious choice. Tel is also 2020 and I’ve never been a big fan of the 2020 family bonus of extra critical unless you have more than one family member. The 2023 family bonus for Leadria won’t be known for another week.

valid points but 2020 Bonus is Healing, not Critical Strike  it kinda fits Telluria

I was thinking of the elemental link. Both JF and Vela (2020) have the same critical elemental link, not family bonus. I like to use them and often bring them out for lower levels of events where you can only use heroes a limited number of times.

Elemental link works similarly to family bonus in that if you have 2 of them from the same year, the link works n the entire team. This is something else to consider if you have already have another 2023 hotm, like their links, and can see using them together.
