 Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Mana Increase Reduction
Reduces the amount of mana increased by Special Skill by -80%. The effect applies to all enemies in the battle.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Scroll of Spite
  • The Special Skill never misses its targets.
  • Attacks the target and nearby enemies with Moonrise Strike dealing up to 860 damage. Deals 30% more damage if the target is Holy. [*]
  • The target and nearby enemies receive 900 Poison damage over 5 turns. The caster and all allies absorb 35% of the dealt Poison damage as health.

Owls have a different damage calculation so damage is ā€œsetā€. But donā€™t know if they planned for this to extend to dot. No difference on damage from poison between 80 and 90 level :man_shrugging:

I have adjusted the hero card with the changes.

Nice thing these days is: I only need to read until I hit speed: slow then I can stop caring. Well unless there is a built in way on speeding up the critter, which of course somebody else will have to point out to me, because I stopped reading before I got to that point.

Unlike Jett this owl will be handy in VF mode, because it has one-step charge. Especially at tank position. Dunno if it could be useful anywhere else though.

I pulled 2 of this fellaā€¦ Iā€™ll maybe do oneā€¦ but Iā€™m not impressed with the owl attack mechanicā€¦ so other than vf eventsā€¦ heā€™s not going to see much action.

This guy and his blue cousin - 4 stars owl not so interesting. The number of damage look cool, but it depend on their base attack and enemy def. Most of the time, without goblin buff, the damage is quite low vs expectation for the new heroes.

just pulled today. slightly surprised that the polls are so positive - the special is solid, but the slow speed is a bit off-putting.

and as said above: the Owl mechanic relies on the hero having high attack. I canā€™t see myself heavily embleming and LB-ing this owlā€¦

Yea, Gargon, Iā€™m sure you can do with him whatever you like. Unfortunately, he hits lije a wet towel. Wished i never levelled him.

is this guy worth keeping or should I just throw him away? i kind of want to keep him purely because I have no other Owl, not even a 3* one. But, I doubt Iā€™m going to max this guy.

I have him maxed and seldom use him. He is in my roster as a collection as I keep every single copy.

His passive is decentā€¦ Especially if he is your only owl. Maybe find a niche use for him.

I maxed his emblems (full attack) and heā€™s a beast. If I had more mats I would LB him without further thought.

Of course the problem is, I donā€™t really have anyone better than him for raids or defence. cFura? Guardian Panther? cProtheus? Maybe toon Rigard, but I have decent healers already.
