Is it not a guaranteed seperate roll? Or is it a chance of a roll? Just received war loot and war chest and didnt get one single piece of aether. If anyone knows please let me know.
I also received 0 aethers after winning a war.
There seem to be 3 individual rolls for them with no aether being an option…

As everything else in the game, they are not guaranteed to be received in the loot from wars and tournaments… it’s all RNG.

Lol I understand that but just like titan loot you typically have a guaranteed amount of ascension mat rolls the quality of the mat isnt guaranteed but u always get em.
Yeah must be so then they may be like reset emblems then. They are more of a bonus roll
Previous & current war, I have received 2 aethers each time (a 4* & 3* both times). Of course we won both wars.

Winning or losing?
Last war we won, and had 2 aether in the loot. This war we lost and got nothing.
We won 2 last wars. The first one netted me 0 aethers, today I got 2. Seems to be random.

None from the last war, which we lost. One lonely level 1 aether from our victory today. Not very impressed.
This is my experience so far:
War loss: 0
War win: 2x 4* Fire either II
War chest: 0 but only 44% participation level

I got none in war loot, but got a 5 star nature in war chest
First war I got zero. We lost that war.
Latest war I got three 3*. We won that one.
I got Ice aethers in my war loot today. Only 3*
Wish we could trade. We won and I got three that I have zero interest in. Still waiting on materials to ascend all of my stalled 4*s. 
I guess they’ll be useful eventually, provided I live to see the day.
I got 1 nature ll and 1 dark l from the win loot
I’m not sure I can answer directly but I was horrified to get two after a pathetic war performance by me (we achieved victory due to several awesome shipmates; (Ghosties rock)). I was the lowest scoring alliance member. I just looked and saw a mechanism to give me no loot that I have no conceivable chance of ever using in exchange for something that might be usable right now.
@sft1965 If I can offer you some advice, I’d say:
Someone has to be the lowest scorer. I think your teammates wouldn’t care about this, and would hate for you to feel horrified. I know that I would if I was in the same alliance with you.
This is a game we enjoy playing. Please remember that you are always worth so much more than a phone game.
