I also agree on this option as the original creator @GDIBass seems have no time to add this functionality.
It is practical but not clean and many may not like it.

There are other people who are using the data from github.
But I can keep adding costumes data to original heroes so nothing will break and I can make some extra heroes by adding " 2nd" (or something else) to name and filename (like ‘Leonidas 2nd’ and ‘Leonidas 2nd.yml’) and everyone can filter out heroes containing ’ 2nd’ in filename.
How does this sound? Is this OK for everybody?

It is also me who use your data, (thanks again by the way) and yes by using your aforementioned method, I can filter out the duplicated heroes from the list.
Waiting to listen to other users’ opinions , who use HeroPlan a lot more than mine.

We ( 7DU ) ard using heroplan a lot to help members setting their best defense snd using the best attack teams.
Any method making 2 nd and 3rd costume visible would be great.
A „ duplicate“ herpo for 2nd and 3rd costume would be a great thing. Use a special tag in hero description to indicate this and to have an selector to merge the two heroes in the future.

No need for future merging as I will keep the original hero updated with all the costumes. Also the duplicate hero will contain a field “is_costume: true”. (ETA: 1-2 days)

I have already added them, but GDIBass still needs to check them and then merge to main. I also added all new legendary troops, but this needs some work on website to make them available.

I love everything done with this but I do have to ask are second and now third costumes going to be added? Also Kullervo’s costume has a blue background.

Would love to tag anybody who use a lot of heroplan but i dont know who use it a lot
I would love the backend to be updated. I do not like the idea of having two heroes to represent 4 costumes. I’d rather have to have an individual hero for each version of the costume (not ideal). I’d also settle for something that just indicates what other costumes are available (aka numbers 1, 2, 3) and then pic and stats don’t change.

Oh yes I must have missed that thank you. I’m not a fan of the idea of having 2 different heroes representing the other costumes I’d rather just have the one hero represent the other costumes like it is now, and maybe like in game an indicator next to the costume icon representing how many costumes you have(x2, x3, etc) In order to equip a certain costume we can change it from a toggle to selecting the costume number and do a similar thing add that costume to you roster.

What would you guys say if the backend is impossible to be updated? (Since the owner of the repo will likely have no time to update, so the two heroe icons are the only feasible solutions that we can think of at the moment without updating)

It’s not the end of the world, if it’s only temporary it’s fine, but I would prefer that it’s one icon in the end.
Is it possible to just turn each costume into it’s own unique hero? It iwll be annoying to show 4 of one hero, but that’s the only way I can think to make it clear (especially for people that don’t have the heroes).

It is not impossible, but it will require a great effort on manual modification of the current data (i believe – since now there are like hundreds costumes already)
All in all, all efforts in the past year has been made by @cvl_75 , so we could discuss some ideas here and he can think more of best feasible solution then ask the repo owner @GDIBass for final validation

If we lean more toward @Ruskin505 suggestions and still practical, it may be another option that
For the 2nd and 3rd costumes, each costume has individual icon (but not on the first costume)
Example: Vivica with 3 costumes will have 3 icons

3rd costume icon
(Should be better than group 2nd and 3rd costumes into one icon imo)

I don´t mind much if C2 and C3 are separate or combined into one costumed hero, but I want to point out that it is possible to get C3 without having C2 from HA10 which would cause trouble if C2 was “the base hero” for C3 on heroplan.
I personally know which costumes I have, so it doesn´t bother me too much if we have this at all, but it would be nice for sharing my roster with other people, who don´t know what costumes I have.
