	Regen	At the start of each battle, this Hero regenerates 420 health over 6 turns. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

Ability: Gargoyle’s Softskin Every time this Gargoyle casts a Special Skil, their Softskin activates. The next 5 times they receive damage, it is reduced by -90%, and they resist all status ailment and mana reduction. This effect can’t be dispelled.

Special Skill: Moon Boomerang
All allies except the caster receive Softskin. (The next time they receive damage, it is reduced by -90%, and they resist all status ailment and mana reduction. This effect can’t be dispelled.) All allies recover 510 HP over 3 turns. This effect duration is reset if the status effect owner is hit with direct damage from a Special Skill. Cleanses status ailments from all allies.

I actually think he’s a great 4* hero and softskin is one very annoying (to enemy) and beneficial special.

I am happy to have this guy. I don’t think he belongs on defense because he’s dispellable. But I look forward to using him on attack.
It may be a question of what you’re comparing him to.

His usage is limited to a support hero for PvE events if you have a limited roster. Ice Contest of Elements or Omega come to mind, since the enemies hit pretty hard.

Cant be dispelled, but tile damage will remove it immediately after the reduced 90% damage.

Oh good, that is better — that soft skin can’t be dispelled. He gets it himself for 5 times.
So it seems only the healing over time is dispellable.

Do you know, for example with the allies who get soft skin for one hit… If they are hit with a string of three tiles (one match), is the first tile at 10% damage and the other two tiles at 100% damage? Or is the whole string of 3 tiles reduced to 10% damage because it is a single match?

Based on what i see with Garten, the first damage is at reduced damage and the latter tiles will cause full damage.

I will say this. I 2lb’d him talent @20. I have done well on defense and love using him on my offensive teams. I’m running a low tp team 5800 and several times have beaten 7000 plus teams on offense and defense has beaten 6500+ teams. If you have the mats and want to just have fun with a sleeper 4* go for it.
