So i am waiting for the tonic from the next rare quest to level up lianna. But i have enough shields to also do another 4*.
I have Melendor, kashhrek, skittle skull and little John all at 3/70 and Elkanen at 2/60. I have pretty much discounted skittles and elk as a waste of shields and i dont see kash as a good investment either. So that leaves melandor and LJ.
I already have kiril, rigard and BT so an leaning towards LJ but he is slow mana… I don’t have any mana controllers. Is he good for events and challenges?
Thoughts?
LJ is good for epic challenges (you can mana pot him)
Mel is good for rare titans / riposte teams.
I love Kashrek as a tank and I still use him in green stacks for keep your 2 most important heroes alive. IF you have a better tank, dont look at him.

In events/challenges/titans you can use pots for his slow mana problem. So imo, yes, for being your mana controller.
But as always, ymmv.
I’ve got both Little John and Melendor maxed. They’re both good in my opinion, but Melendor is better.
John’s underrated, and much more useful than other slow ones like Skittleskull or Boomer. His tile damage is very high – tied with Jack O’ Hare for tile damage, which is the fourth highest attack stat out of all green heroes – and makes him a staple in my blue titan team. Melendor also has high attack for a healer, so he stays in my titan team too. Both of them are squishy.
Melendor however is the more versatile one. Healing, dispelling, and contributing to tile damage… nuff said.
Little John being slow is a disadvantage, but his effect is pretty devastating; -64% mana generation cripples even the fastest heroes, on raids if you get this off you can create combos with little fear.
End of the day though, I’d go with what you need more. If you need mana control, Little John is great.
For Alliance Wars it’s helpful to have six healers, one for each team, as a minimum. With arrows, two per team isn’t bad, especially if one is s “half-healer” like Kiril or Boldtusk. I’d go with Melendor, therefore.
Hmmmm it’s a tricky one… Will have to think about it. Cheers
