Getting back into the swing of things…maybe…

So I am taking baby steps to come back to the game on a very limited basis and I need to do a couple of things and could use help.

1. I need to plan out which heroes to level. Suggestions by element, class and use would be greatly appreciated.

Currently leveling Almur (should be done by tomorrow); everyone else is negotiable.

2. I need to prune my 3, 4 & 5 star heroes which are unleveled.

I don’t pursue challenge events too aggressively, but would like to maintain the heroes necessary to be competitive enough to be a good alliance mate

Welcome back @voidstrike! @Muchacho has asked some good questions. I will wait for you to answer.

My initial suggestions:

I’d save all unwanted 5* for the next Soul Exchange, where you can trade 10/15/20 5* for a 5* of your choice from a selection of 15.

I’d also finish levelling Kiril’s costume for costume bonus and costume version. I’d also level Jott, second Jackal, and finish Cheshire Cat for titans/Mythic Titan.

War should be optional but if opted in must use all flags and also have some vein of a strategy.

Your head is itchy because the existence of this thread is confounding in and of itself not to mention the thought of me being back can cause people to break out in allergic reactions.

Gribmle, Atomos, Athena, Lidenbrock, JF(or second GM)

Other 5* that are worth maxing later:
Thor, Motega, Dr.Moreau, Roostley, Malicna, Glenda, Raffaele, Neith, Lady Locke
G.Chamelein can work at 3^70 against titans

First 4* to work on
Gullinbursti, Ametrine, Jott(and c.Kiril), Ceadmon, Lancelot

Other worth 4*:
Griffin, Ingolf, second Jackal, Woolerton, Tettukh, Proteus, c.Caedmon

Moat of your 3* are good for tournaments/events except Vollermork, Graymane, An-Windr and Gill-Ra

Mythic titan is monthly “event”, he have endless HP and everyone can hit him 12 times. After he leaves there are % loot tiers for best attack, best total and best alliance. You have to use multiple teams against him because your heroes are getting tired - mana generation/attack/defence debuffs.

Clash of Knights (CoK) is event similiar to monthly events like Teltoc/Pirates but here except your personal score and loot you will have alliance score and loot.
You must be in alliance before it starts in order to parcitipate.
There are 3 tiers as usuall (rare, epic, legendary) and to unlock every next tier your alliance must have reach specific amount of points.

candidly I found it a bit difficult to go over your heroes, (maybe sorting by color will make it easier?) but I think all the ones above are good. Almur should definitely be priority.

I will add some more that stood out.

1. Athena and her cascading defense down would be good for challenge events
2. Prof Lidenbrock, if you have her you can forget Vivica except for depth
3. do I see 1 1/1 Proteus there? Proteus is still and always awesome
4. Mama North and her resurrection of course!
5. Kashrek and costume could be useful too
6. Caedmon-C for a Green cleanse

What’s mythic titan, clash of knights, etc.?

Fair, I couldn’t remember when you left. A few highlights:

• Limit breaking heroes with aethers. You get aethers via the monthly quest, certain loot, and paying. They are the new E&P crack. It allows you to boost your heroes 5 levels above max: 4* 70 can go to 75, etc.

• Mythic Titan is a monthly event where the entire E&P community fights an unkillable titan. Each round is 2.5 minutes and you get 12 swings. You get loot based community wide on:

Cumulative total damage
Highest single hit
Alliance rank based on cumulative alliance damage

• If you use Christmas heroes their minions got nerfed because SG made a new Christmas hero that took advantage of the old Christmas heroes minion ability. Rather than fix the new hero they messed with all the old ones and the new hero can still do stupid damage with other minion makers that also have faster mana. Kudos to that problem solving

• Most S1, S2, older HotMs, and old event 5’s have costumes now,

• Season 5 coming soon.

• Clash of Knights is an alliance based event where you unlock epic and legendary by hitting certain cumulative alliance scores. There is also an alliance leaderboard so a-holes can shame those not “keeping up” in “that” kind of alliance. The first time it ran it was too easy. The second time it became probably the hardest event. Ratcheted the difficulty WAY up.

• Lots of new events (and towers). To make room all the old events and heroes are available via Hero Academy (do you know what this is?) and an event called Festival of something. Basically The Land of Misfit Toys for E&P due to power creep.

• @SamMe touched on Soul Exchange because she is awesome. There are also a couple portals where they remove S1 heroes.

• Power creep is legit and alive. This has resulted in most forum threads being skippable because so and so needs a buff, so and so needs a nerf, blahblahblahblah. It can result in it being harder for F2P and casual to finish high in events because of how low the summon odds are and how powerful the new heroes are.

It is NOT impossible at all, it is just harder than it was a couple years ago.

That is a pretty good casual alliance to up to 14*. Maybe I am wrong? My alliance is casual and our bread and butter is 9* and 10*. You’re welcome to join, we’re not invite only (WhatTheWhat). I think we’re cool and so does my mom. I haven’t actually asked her because she’d say we’re not so I use the lack of communication to make broad assumptions. That’s also my basis for claiming to be her favorite, which I am also not. She claims to hate us all equally ….

There is also a new beta thing for like a larger alliance war involving war bands of 100 you’re randomly assigned to. First global beta was last month. Next one in a week or so. I didn’t try it so couldn’t say.

I think there’s a lot of good advice offered already.

My additional suggestions for hero pruning:

• Carol. Unfortunately she does not summon minions, and I don’t use her often. I’m a collector so I’ve kept her though. Might be a possibility for Tower of Magic since she can be cursed up to 5 times?

• Ghost girl. I got her late, and keep her for collection purpose only.

• LJ. No costume for him, and you’ve Costumed Skittles. Plus all costumed heroes come with the base hero.

• Second Sabina. I don’t have her costume either, and she’s probably my least used 4* healer. For me, she is extra squishy without any emblems.

• Vollermork. I like him because he is a fun hero. However you have Bauchan.

• Guardian Bat. I think I levelled it for something to level! I hardly use it outside Challenge Festival (a newer challenge event, so just one challenge event out of currently four - Slayers/Starfall/Villans/CF ).

• C-Prisca. I fed her away despite getting her costume.

• Morris. I temporarily forgot that I kept him for collection purpose.

PS If you really need to clear out slots, I’d get rid of any non-costumed S1 3* first then S1 4* - easiest heroes to get back if needed/wanted. Next would be costumed S1 3*/4* dupes excluding C-Rigard and C-Kiril imo.
