Full Atlantis Family Raid defense? Is it scary or strong?

So I did a 10 pull off Atlantis and got Atomos. He seems underwhelming, however he now completes my full Atlantis family Poseidon, Atomos-Ursena-Ariel-(Trition/Proteus).

Has anyone maxed ask these hero’s/emblemed them and used them as primary defense team? Is the 20% Atlantis Defense Bonus that significant that I should consider ascending Atomos?

In theory the 20% defense buff seems huge. Then getting the team all emblem lvl 10 and proteus to 20, this does seem scary to take down. you could swap out proteus for another 5* in red for Rainbow and get the 15% buff or just another hero who would synergy with the 4 other heroes taking advantage of the 15% Defense buff

I just ascended my Poseidon to 4/1. Just Ascended my Ursena to 4/1 have maxed proteus and Ariel already. I also have 6 tonics and 429 Barbarian emblems that I have no one to use on (Sad days with no grave or Kage). Considering ascending Atomos and making 5/5 or 4/5 Atlantis family defense.

Poseidon-Atomos-Ursena-Ariel-(Proteus or Triton or better 5*)

Wanted to see if anyone else has tried out this team or have come across it in a raid.

I’ve not been able to max Atamos. Running the full Atlantis Family defense has not proven very effective to me. I’ve tried using all of them and any combination of the 6. Here’s my best Atlantis configuration and my current defense.

Atamos is tempting to max, but I’ll wait for him to get a buff. Proteus doesn’t play well with Ursena and triton is not tough enough to use just to get the % def bonus. I’ve also found that you have to run rainbow defense with Ursena tank, or double purple to draw a yellow stack and discourage a non-yellow mono stack.

hmm got it, ya I am still on the fence with Atomos, in theory it should be good. However, he is just underwhelming compared to others. He reminds me a lot of Aegir before he got buffed. People liked him and could see some potential but he was just too underwhelming.

I agree, he needs a buff of some sort to balance him out. The fact he is slow and not reliable enough damage to run with in I think.

I have considered going Seshat-Atomos-Ursena-Ariel-Poseidon to draw out the Yellow stack.

I like that idea, I use Kunchen and Ursena in the center a lot.

Atamos will have his day. I hope.

Well Atamos got the buff. So I’m finally able to give the Atlantis family defense a fair test.

It’s a lousy defense! No kidding I haven’t been in platinum for at least 6 months. Running this defense put me there in less than a week. I think it won 4 out of about 30-35 attacks.

Atamos is ok on offense though. He follows Evelyn well.

Great experiences… I also want plan to ascend Atomos because of family bonus and his buff, but I do not have Ariel yet. So Poseidon, Ursena and Atomos. Atomos is still at lvl 1.1.
I plan with Atomos tank and Vela flank, like this:
Alby - Ursena - Atomos - Vela - Poseidon

My current Defense is: Seshat - Vela - Telluria - Ursena - Kingston

In my case, do you prefer Atomos or others green: Margaret 1.1, 2nd Kingston 3.70, 2nd Telluria 3.70, Kadilen 1.1, Lianna 1.1. No costumes.
Anyway I will focus on offense.

Honestly Ariel has never made an improvement on my defense. I really like her for offense.

I’ll try Atamos at tank and let you know how it goes. I don’t have Vela so I will try MN, Ursena, Atamos, JF , Poseidon.

Atamos is much better than before. Without Evelyn he would hit really weak. So if you want offense I would choose Margaret or Kingston 2.

Yes, I do not have Evelyn… I think while waiting 2x Tonics, I will start lvl Margaret, after C.Caedmon maxed.

After 1 day. MN, Ursena, Atamos, Ariel, Poseidon raid defense is winning close to 50% of raids and holding about 2550 cups.

I must say I’m a bit surprised. I’ll let you know how it does over the next few days.

Any one still using Poseidon Ursena and Ariel on defense? If so what are your thoughts? Wondering if that 10% defense bonus is worth it?

I have Ariel and use her offensively most of the time. And have Ursena on Defense with GTV and Fong. I stay about 2600+ cups.
Just got Poseidon and have him up to 3:70. Thinking to take him to 4:80 and put him in over Fong And maybe Ariel in instead of Vela. I know that messes up the synergy of GTV but wondering if Ariel,Ursena, Poseidon is worth trying. Problem is I only have mats to ascend one Holy and I was already wanting to do Malosi first. But before I bit the bullet wanted to see if there were any thoughts on the defensive value of Atlantis family bonus…

thanks for sharing this, really helpful. I was thinking about an atlantis team as well (only ursena and ariel maxed at the moment, but tonics for a green in stock, and poseidon on the shelves as well). I currently run the full 5 star Avalon family as raid defense to provide people some variety from GTV in diamond arena. This defense easily holds me there (to admit that guin tank is +17). agree with ariel, great for offense, but not sure if you need to run her on defense. I mean you can, not a stellar assert there…
