I have paired Frosth (5*) and Xiahou Dun (4*) with great success. I recently pulled Cao Cao who is the 5* version of Xiahou but Cao Cao is Slow whereas Xiahou is average. Should I stick with my Frosth/Xiahou pairing or level up CaoCao? I also have pulled Cel, so then it begs the question would Cel be a better replacement as both are slow?
No, xiahou dun is fast. Which is why he’s better than cao cao if you just want to dispel stuff

The issue with this is that your solution is a 4⭐️ hero in a game environment where they can get one-shotted by the current crop of 5⭐️ Power Creepers.
There’s certainly an argument to be made for both.

I think Cao Cao is the better of the two.
Hits all rather than 1
Minions, which dispel, to all rather than 3
A defensive buff
And 5* stats, which should make the minions beefier
I have both and I use Cao Cao a lot more, especailly as I also have Ludwig

Also; Cao Cao will give you 5 beefy minions, rather than 3 weak minions. Much easier to ensure that they actually survive and remove the buff you need removed
He also has a quite substantial hit, and he will get a better pay-off on the very strong family bonus from his minions (% of stats)
