Typical, eh?
Iām seeing so much potential that Iām even considering going for a full minion teamā¦
PiBs already maxed, Telluria maxed. Freya next.
Delilah? Sheās sat there waiting, why not?

Good evening guys!I was lucky enough to get Freya and all I have to say is awesome !!I At the moment I have her at 3.70 and Iām testing it lately in raids and wars and standing exquisitely!
Solid defense with great protection shield that makes you feel safe which if you have completed all the minions hardly anyone will be able to beat you!As for the minions in creating damage to the opposing team cause significant damage no matter how strange it may seem.In defense I prefer her more.
In general I find her excellent
Itās a joy seeing all the reports here that freya has good synchronicity with telly ! i am also pleased to report that i have enough mats to max telly now, so i will do that in the next few weeks and also work on freya when i finally get those elusive trap tools!
Mine isnāt even maxed SS yetā¦ And PiBs minions hitting 350+ EACH on farming bosses
Iāve been messing about with Freya and trying to figure out all the beneficial interactions with minionsā¦ seems they work really well with crit and defense down, as youād expect, but attack up and more specifically, tarlak and ranvir type attack up seems to have no effectā¦ Is that intended? Is there a minion guide somewhere for a minion noob?
Thanks for any help.
I donāt know if thereās a guide about minions out there, but I do know that attack buffs only affect heroes ā not minions. So yes, that is definitely intended.
Freyaās Ravens are currently the only way to buff minion slash attack damage ā and from my testing in Beta, the buff only applies once per minion (i.e. can only buff by +120% attack once, regardless of whether thereās 1 or 2 Ravens)
Thanks, I thought I was getting an attack buff from ares but Iāll have to recheck that then if no attack buff works on them. Good to know thatās the intent.
Freya With Pussinboots, a couple of tellurias and seshat / Queen of hearts ā¦ you have an incredible team ā¦
All on one team? No. No. No. lol new minions will push Freyas and their AP boost right off
Not necessarilyā¦ PiB summons the crow, and two tellurias summon two minions ā¦ it leaves Freya with a crow and two minionsā¦ as long as PiB and Freya summon again before terllurias then itās unlikely the crow will be kicked off. But canāt have other heroās in the other slot that summons for the teamā¦ just for themselves like seshat.
Thanks for the post @Fookit and welcome to the forums.
As to the Minion Madness, I respectfully disagree, Iāve found through extensive use that more than 3 minion summoners is too much. Especially with Seshat whose replicating you canāt control, but copy that, be cool for you to post some vids. It makes sense when you āas long asā but iāve done 100s of raids with Telly, Freya, and Seshat trio, and many with other summoners included, and more times than not you will push the crows off and lose all that extra AP
Agreed, I donāt think replicators are a good mix with her, as good as Seshat is.
Puss makes sense because you boost those already high attack minions.
Telluria makes sense because youāre adding more delay to the minion meatshields already slowing down the battle, but with a little damage too.
Adding a fourth (Delilah for me) helps keep up 3 on all heroās though the heal isnāt usually necessary with the heal over time and minionsā¦ Itās a bit of a toss up really.
It can very easily become a very passive kind of team which works surprisingly well, but lacks punch against the nastiest opponents.
Itās worth remembering, also, that while some minion heroās are excellent in their own right (among mine: Telluria, Delilah)ā¦
The ones that really make minion teams into minion madness are Freya and Puss and theyāre just okay without other summoners to play with.
Some thoughts on Freya now that I have her in a more usable state:
I like her a lot. I have her at 4.16, but Iāve already had some success taking her raiding. I was able to use her successfully against teams with TP4500+ and she still has a lot of growing to do.
She performs best when she has a minion buddy. I was using her with Seshat and Mother North and they were able to be very durable vs good teams. I think her best friend will be Telluria. I have not had a lot of issues with minions pushing each other out because the minions were constantly getting knocked out by enemy fire.
That said, I donāt plan on doing a minion swarm team. I think itās best to have her and a minion buddy and use the time they buy you to charge heavy damage dealers, or even bring Boril.
Even though sheās fast, she performs more like a slow hero: she increases the durability of the team so fights with her have tended to be slugfests that go on for a while. She hasnāt contributed much damage though maybe Iāll get better results when I finish leveling her.
This interestingā¦ Mine is currently 3.70 but this hasnāt quite been my experience.
I agree sheās something of a delaying tactic, but sheās still clearly a fast.
And for me, I like to run 3 or even 4 of my minion team to buy time and durability for a flimsy big hitter - Isarniaās costume for example, or to give time to charge a sniper several times and pick off opponents one by one whilst keeping near constant heal over time from Telly/Puss (and sometimes Delilah for even more heal!).
In terms of damageā¦
For obvious reasons you see significantly higher damage from minions that have more bite to begin with - Telluriaās inherit 13% attack, Delilahās 16% and Pussās bring a whopping 30%.
That bite from Puss with Freya can result in very worthwhile damage.
When I said that I had two things in mind: first of all, she seems to work well on teams that take a while to develop, sort of like you said: charging Isarnia or a sniper several times. The second thing I meant is that for her to be effective by herself, she has to fire at least twice. So what you describe is a lot like my experience, I just didnāt put it very well.
As far as minion damage goes, I was using her with MN who only gets 10% and Seshat who only has her own minions so canāt build up big numbers. I have seen videos of an emblemed Freyaās minions dealing substantial damage after she fired twice, so I think a lot depends on her stats. I was just saying mine arenāt there yet, but sheās already useful in fights in the diamond arena.
She sucks on defense. Should have saved my tabards for clarissa.
/adds another hero to the list of regrets maxing.
do you have telluria? her synergy with telluria is pretty great. one of the more fun tandems out there to play with.
