It’s not a defence down its a damage multiplier so it stacks with everything else. Use attack up, Def down elemental Def down to get a good hit eg 1000 damage then this guy means they get 50% extra damage Eg 1500 damage
Basically with his ailment on you can take your Titan scores and increase them by 50%. Boom.

Also had a good starting board against a ludwig tank, it was glorious watching his special do nothing lol

Man, Franz is defo going on my to-work-on list after reading all this here 
a pity i don’t have emblems, but I’m glad to have at least summoned him! Hopefully I manage to get a second one and that way try the different emblem paths on him .

Pulled him today, not most wanted here but welcome nonetheless! Was already working on Wren but now its Franz first.
This is what he looks like fully emblemed def path. His defensive stats are insane. I want him around as long as possible to give his 6 turns of anarchy.

This is the way. Embleming for attack won’t boost his attack all that much. Took him for a run on 8-7 w/o any talents yet and his hit-all was for a pathetic 200-220ish. No one should be putting this guy on defense expecting him to wipe any teams by himself. Defense all the way.

Finally pulled this guy after Some pretty awful portal results. I was chasing this guy specifically. (Also pulled ferant, which I’m also happy about)
I’m not ready to level 5* heroes yet and my best so far is Almur at +15, but he is pretty meh without a companion.
My green 4* roster is really great, but unleveled. Had JUST started on Hansel, but also pulled Tettukh recently, plus I have Brynhild and Buddy, plus some S1’s. I could really use someone who would be good on defense, but can also hang on offense.
Would you go with Franz over the others?

Very happy i got him. He was the only realistic acquisition i was aiming for in the portal. Will try to run him with tree for some craziness …
In the meantime i wanted to see how much i could boost a special hit using franz and other debuffers. Got the c lianna hit fron 895 to 3496. I know its not the absolute max you can do in the game but it has to be pretty close.

Hm. Green hero that increases damage by flat 50%. And there is Jörmugandr that comes as next mythic titan who is curiosly immune to all def-affecting statuses, but not this one I assume because it does not affect defense but damage. Seems I will level him up asap.

Until now, I have not put a 4* in a team that had been all 5*s. My green team was Heimdall/Tarlak/Lady Locke/C-Francine/Atomos. Replacing Atomos with Franz makes this team mean.
Besides giving Franz better attack stats, an emblemed LL has DOT over 2000 hitting 3.
