First five star leveling teams

After much good advice I have spent my first year leveling my three and four star teams, I have almost 35 fours leveled and emblemed. So now to my first five star teams, I’ve selected what I think are two good teams to concentrate on, coincidentally one is male, the other female, your opinions on them, how well they work together and if I should replace any would be appreciated, esp @Scarecrow and @zephyr1 when you have time.

I have the following that could be swapped out, Ranvir, Miki, Kingston, Grazul, Domita, Elk, Mushasi, Isinara, Elena and Leonids, plus the awesome looking Owl and Quintas. I do have all the ascension items for one team and some for the second so will concentrate on one team first. Thanks all for your opinions and help

Not sure why you separated males and females.

If you want a titan specialist, consider Miki. I guess he would replace Richard since he’s male.

Do you plan to give female feeders to the guys and make feeders to the girls?

Lol it just ended up that way, didn’t do it deliberately just formed the two teams and went huh? How did that happen, happy to mix them up, they are just sitting like that for leveling up.

Congrats on all your hard work paying off! It’s okay to mix 4 and 5 stars on the same teams too, play around with different combos. Vivica was my first 5* and I haven’t regretted maxing her. Ranvir (ain’t on the teams but in your list) supplanted Wu Kong on my titan team and I haven’t regretted that decision either. Alice is also a good hero to max, I have her at 4/69 and again haven’t regretted that decision. Drake Fong, Kageburdo, and Seshat are 3 of the best heroes in the game from what I see on threads here. I don’t have them though. I do have Miki and Grazul but I haven’t started them yet, I know that both are good heroes though so you have a very good pool. It looks like you’re very strong in yellow and purple which will make leveling all of them take a very long time. But in the end I’d go with the first team you’ve got assembled.

Great heroes you have. On each colour, the first to level: Alby, Alice, BK, Drake and Seshat. Then the others. With these 5 heroes you can set a hell of defense at AW/raids/raid tournaments exactly in the order I said. Also is hell of the attack in hard missions/challenges. You have BK to protect your heroes and boost their attack. You have two great snipers, besides Seshat is dispeller too. You have Alby for healing and fastening your heroes. You have one of the best attacks in the game. Well… you will.

I’m thinking about this less as a team to go together, and more just the heroes that I think would expand your bench most effectively for a first round of 5*.

For that, I’d go with:

  • Red Hood
  • Drake
  • Alberich
  • Alice (or Miki, if you’re fighting big Titans; otherwise he’s fine at 3-70)
  • Seshat

Also, unless you enjoy continuing to Summon with a large budget, I’d encourage you to severely reduce or outright stop Summoning. You have plenty of heroes to work on.

Thanks all for your advice, I was planning on only summoning for Xmas event then concentrating on leveling what I have since the fives are going to take a long time to level. I’ll continue to emblem my best fours and then start to save them for the fives and as they become viable start to weave them in my war teams. At what stage of leveling do you think the fives start to show useable talent?

I don’t understand your last proposition…

Alby Drake Blacky Alice Sesh

At what level would you start swapping out fours to the fives, for example I have Grimm emblemed to level seven, at what stage would Alice be a good replacement for him?

Oh… This is not something standard. Even if Alice is maxed and I would have a hard mission and in my team there is no hero to lower defense, then I would use Grimm, not Alice. It is about every situation and you will figure out in time, for sure.

@Olmor when you say a defense here, on forum, always yellow near purple, for the best efficiency. The side colours always should be opposite colours (see basic tutorials about defenses). If I hit with a combo a side and I deal double damage to a hero, automatically the nearest hero gets half damage.

I would wait until they are fully leveled for defense. Otherwise, I use the Defense Stat as the measure for when to sub.

For your defense, I just focused on having the following: 2 healers (one dispeller and one status ailment remover) and fast mana speed attackers. It would be nice if you could have them hit more than one enemy but to me it isn’t crucial. With this setup I haven’t raided in several months and have went from 1600 to 2100 cups. So however that works with your heroes is kinda up to you but that’s my formula. Also the lineup is crucial too, I keep one healer as a flank (right next to the tank) and one out wide as a wing. Again, however this works with your heroes is mainly up to you.
