Also. The final mission itselfā¦ oof ā¦ what a grind!!! I can envision it possibly ā¦ becoming a topic of much discussion! Even with a Gaillard, it was well over an hour long grind for me! I reallyyyyy wish I had a Russell levelled, O imagine heād be crucial/MVP of beating the final S4 mission on hard?

No problem! Now that said others probably would have better times and strategies than myself, but I do think two healers are gonna be a necessity ā¦ becauseā¦
fiends were the biggest threat in this, thereās so many of them and they cast blinding too on all heroes, so someone like Gaillard or Esme, or some other means to deal with fiends will be a gamechanger. russell too will help i think, since his attack never misses, right? also, boss is immune to things like def down, elemental def own, timestop, damage over time effectā¦ i can certainly see for hard mode itās gonna become a war of attrition scenario.
Yep, I got to 3rd wave a few times but jumped because I couldnāt bear it ! I ā¦did not think to bring minion destroyers actually, will try it with c. gormek on hard, would love to bring skadi but her stacks will not affect the boss.
i will defo be keeping an eye on this thread, as Iād love to see what peopleās strategies are for this final s4 level!

You just need minion killer for this. Thankfully my forever benched Gobbler seen the light of the day and I even gave him 10 emblem nodes as he is my only minion killer (no C Gormek or any other 5* minion killer). I might start using him regularly after this experience.
My full team - C Boldtusk, Gobbler, Queen Of Hearts, C Melendor, Viscaro.

I was also in same situation when I started the boss stage. I was like, do I have a minion killer? After like 77 wasted world energy, I look deeper in my rosterā¦ Gobbler! I totally forgot about him 
. Even Captain of Diamonds is missing in my roster which is a last missing 4* from old monthly events and itās a minion killer too.

For those of us with no Grimble. Who do you all recommend. Captain of Diamonds. Gobbler. Or Devana? I have a. Solid blue titan team so I would lean that way but Devana is very appeal also though mine is stuck at 3/70
I personally would not use Devana, even though mine is at +18. She would have a 50% miss rate and that just does not seem to be worth it to me.
I would use C.Gormek myself.
