At the very least, I figure I’ll give Khagan one node. Even the small chance at pierce is a nice benefit.

He’s a big one for the map, trials, events, seasonals and quests, since he generates mana and clears a wave of 3 up to say difficulty 3000 at once.
Most don’t read the part where he says he has ZERO tabards.
It will be months before OP will be able to max Seshat.
What is the point of hugging to the emblems while OP is able to utilize an emblemed Khagan until the next best ranger comes along.
Khagan is an offensive monster while many may say he is not worth the RINGS if you have better options. OP has already stated his Khagan is at the final level so why discourage him/her.
On quests and challenges or trials, you can mana pot him and flank him with heavy hitters and there will be fireworks display on the screen. On raid defense, he is average but still not bad if emblemed.

In my honest opinion, and from what you have already said here, I would max Khagan and give him emblems. You may wait many months for the mats to max Seshat. Work with what you have now

Emblems are not rings, you can always reset them. Unless you have another hero to use them on while waiting on Seshat, might as well use them on him.

Between Isarnia and Guinevere, which would put your emblems on? I want to use them in wars and titan battles.
What color tank does your alliance use for defense? Guinevere is an elite tank. She’s ok for attack (I think she’s underrated), but not great.
Isarnia is a good, not great part of offense or defense.
Isarnia is very good to excellent for titans. Guinevere is ok for titans.
I use Telluria as my defensive tank. I had been using her as my offensive tank as well. She was unbeatable prior to the rebalancing. Now, I need to buildout replacement offensive tanks for my raids. I can see using Guinevere as a tank in certain tournaments and quests, but will probably continue to use Telluria for my main defensive tank. I did recently pull Clarissa. If Telluria really turns out to be a bust post-rebalance, I’ll probably move emblems to Clarissa.
