This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the updated Santa’s Challenge.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Classic Season 1 Heroes

  • Rare Classic Hero: 56.8%
  • Epic Classic Hero: 20.8%
  • Legendary Classic Hero: 0.9%

Seasonal Heroes

  • Rare Seasonal Hero: 14.2%
  • Epic Seasonal Hero: 5.7%
  • Legendary Non featured Seasonal Hero: 0.3 %*
  • Legendary Featured Seasonal Hero: 1.3 %*

Costume included if available.

BONUS DRAW

  • Legendary Hero of the Month: 1.3%

Featured Heroes

  • Cookie
  • Ginger
  • Tinsel

The bosses and normal rewards are changed (mostly just the Avatars).

:moneybag: Santa’s Booster

This will be an offer, which is available through the Santa’s Challenge event, and it contains of two components:

  • Battle Bonus
  • Stage Gift

The offer also contains 300 gems and 3 Epic Hero tokens.
The price is unknown.

:crossed_swords: Battle bonus

All of your heroes receive stat boost based on their rarity:

:gift: Stage Gift

If you buy the Santa’s Booster, then a :gift: icon will be shown after each stage, which you can open after you finished that level.
If you buy the offer after you have completed some stages, then you are still able to open the gifts for the already completed stages.

Each stage gives either Food or Iron Bundles (50k / 100k / 250k), and some additional items.

Total amount of summons you get from the Booster alone:

  • 100 Super Elemental Coins
  • 100 Covenant Coins
  • 100 Dune Coins
  • 2 Epic Hero Tokens
  • 24 Loot Tickets
  • 2950k Food
  • 950k Iron
  • 1x Orb of Magic
  • 1x Damascus Blade
  • Bunch of (Master) Trainer Heroes
  • Bunch of basic battle items

All of these are above the regular loot what you can get from the Santa’s challenge.

Can’t even throw the players a bone even when that bone is locked behind yet another paywall. No actual improvements to the event either, just another low effort cash grab with a flood of 5* for whales to chase.

Honestly, what’s the point in the boosters anymore? I used to get a couple when it equated to 10 or more pulls per the £10 they used to cost, only special people buy these now. Awful.

People have mentioned them nerfing the booster. I think it’s time they just make portions of it as free rewards. We shouldn’t need to pay for extra junk. And I do mean junk because a lot of this game has been reduced to junk.

It was $11.99 last year and was ~4x the value.

Factoring the reduction in loot, it should be $4.99 to match the same value.

However, given how other boosters are 2x the value, it seems like the price will be $9.99. Add inflation (aka $1B debt) to that, and you get $11.99.

Thank you SG for helping me save money. I bought last yr booster and will not be buying this nerfed version. I am glad to you nerfed the booster, 1 less thing to tempt me to buy. :rofl::rofl:
