This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the first Untold Tales Heroes.
Don’t get too attached
Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.
It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.
So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.
Untold Tales Heroes
There are a total of nine (9) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for Untold Tales.

Defenders of Atlantis family:
Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.
Bonus for 1+ Heroes:
This hero is part of the Atlantis if teamed with an Atlantis hero. Heroes receive the following effect when teamed with 1/2/3/45 Atlantis Heroes:-
This Hero is counted as part of the Atlantis family if teamed with at least 1 Atlantis hero. Heroes share the following effect when teamed with Atlantis heroes:
- +5% / +10% / +15% / +20% / +25% defense.
Bonus for 1/2 Heroes:
- 50% / 75% chance to give all allies +36% increased attack after this character receives Special Skill damage.
- If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 75% / 100%.
Nightmares of Atlantis family:
Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.
Bonus for 1+ Heroes:
This hero is part of the Atlantis if teamed with an Atlantis hero. Heroes receive the following effect when teamed with 1/2/3/45 Atlantis Heroes:-

- +5% / +10% / +15% / +20% / +25% defense.
Bonus for 1/2 Heroes:
- 50% / 75% chance to cast -10% mana generation for 3 turns on an any who deals Special Skill damage to this character.
- If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 75% / 100%.
