I still use him regularly. Between the significant defense debuff and respectable DOT damage (both to the entire, opposing team), he definitely pulls his weight at average speed, and that’s without even mentioning arguably the best part of his special, dispell. Add in the ability to revive, and he was useful even before the recent costume buff.

He got another recent buff for costume. All i did since last post was add 1x master emblem for +60 def (making emblems 21)
With lvl 23 mana troops he does 291 sand damage per turn (4 turns)
I love the DOT & def down. I have him paired with Frog Prince (damage all attack & 400 poison DOT) & Gestalt (massive damage plus magma cube)
