But allegedly at 69% (nice) it can take a Very Slow hero all the way to 8 tiles or an average hero to Very Fast (6) tiles apparently
You are so awesome, thanks for the link! It seems 80% of the time I use the search function I cannot find what I need. Anyway, that’s absolutely bonkers, wow! I’m going to have to play with this, I’m so curious to watch this happen.
Call it a combination of having too much time to look through the forums (when I should be working), and a memory for too many topics that I have glanced over in an effort to try to keep ontop of all the unread threads. It’s practically a game in itself!

I have C Alb. Talent 19 with LB.
Here how it works.
You need 10 tiles to fire his 1st special (need to select mana path for emblem) with Level 17 magic troop. After that, he will function as fast hero for four turns. This mana booster is not very useful for himself or green allies because you may not have many green tiles left after 1st special. It means to help non green allies. However, he is great hero to have for rush war or attack. His non costume version might be also useful because it increases mana for every hero for four turns.
Yeah, I also have him fully emblemed and LB’d, but on offense I find him more useful in regular form. That passive Mana gain can be a gamchanger more than Mana generation bonus. He’s better in costume on defense in costume IMO.

Just pulled him. I was wandering how would it work the regular one paired with mielikki or ludwig, as the mana generation from the c alberich doesn’t stack. Anybody has tested it?
c Alberich mana buff is like mielikki’s (they don’t stack)
normal Alberich mana buff is like ludwig’s (they don’t stack)
any of the two heroes in the first line above can stack with any of the heroes in the second line
Not true.
Any of the numerical/percentage based mana generation specials (cAlberich, Ariel, Khagan or cKhagan) will not stack with Mielikki’s minions buff.
However, base Alberich or cAriel’s mana gen (moderate amount of mana) WILL stack.
Percentage base or Mielikki’s minions is one type of buff. Generate a moderate amount of mana each turn is another type of buff. Ludwig’s super mana generation buff is yet another type of mana buff. If it has a different symbol, it will stack. How do I know this? I make use of it all the time.
Pictures depicting what will and won’t stack are attached. I’ll make a second post to show the text of the specials, since I can only upload 5 pics at a time.
In particular, look at the top and bottom pictures. The top one shows Meilikki’s minion buff. The bottom shows cAlberich’s. One just overwrote the other. But cAriel’s and Ludwig’s each stack with either the minion or cAlberich’s.
Any suggestions on his talent path?
It seems like a hero whose costume I prefer, but situationally I might change, thus I’d like a mixed path
Go for shield path, better chances for survival and revival!
Went for costumed version with a lot of summons and finally got one!

and…1%mana?! … 1% is as if it doesn’t exist.
Sure is a great card yet costumed bonuses (in mask icon) are underrated.
Remastered cards should have a better support, closer to the S1 costume bonuses.
I feel like they’ll be added secondary costumes beyond S1, but even then that would be another cash grab. But i agree, the rarity of costumes should be a little more of a bonus to at least one stat. I got him not too long ago, and I’d take 1% health, defense, and attack for 5% mana at least

Yes for me In right team. Mana gen a great extra for a healing reviver. Not blessed with many fast nature healers so holds his own on speed with mana troop. Use as off colour to a taunt tank and use in raids and every war. Yes I have Mother North and prefer him
So now, with HotM costume buff, is this guy back in action, right?
