Heās a complete defensive hero. The silence is what makes him nasty and him getting off is gonna be a real PITA for rush
On the other hand Starlassā debuff lasts only 3 turns and Owls, which currently infest the raids, are immune to it. Iād say Starlass is more damage and offense oriented, while Chester would be more on defensive side. Still would ascend Starlass first though (I did mine in fact), just throwing this here for consideration.
Also itās Chester because its chest is impaled by swords? I show myself out.
A little mistake, should be Sorcerer emblems.
Thx, I have fixed it.
It seems it was incorrect in Beta beat topic too.
Fortunatly he is definitly not a fighter
Well, ghost that revives would be a bit weird.
Your best bet is to use toons up against him because at 75% to resist status ailments they are your best bet. Take some hard hitters
ailment and/or damage boosters could make the Curse damage interesting.
The curse damage per turn is similar to Wayneās Bleed damage per turn and that thread is teaming with people slating it. Granted, Chester does a solid 440% damage too but the key part of the special is saved for the end.
The 5 turn silence is golden (sorry, had to). Lemonwood doesnāt even look up as he sharpens his arrows in a feverish frenzy.
Gg i got him first free pull from de advanced token of morlovia.
Last Haloween I did probably 200+ pulls and no 5* Morlovia heroes. This year 25 saved coins and got these. I am happy with that.
Pretty much a best-case scenario. Congrats!
Tested him yesterday in diamonds raids at 1/1 and it was funny to play with. Of course with toons, ecclesiastic class or innate resistance you have problem but for the rest you just have time to go drinking your coffee and come back as ennemies are always silences
A little off topicā¦I pulled Chester with 1 free token so I came to read a little bit about him and saw another TANK as the voted position. Almost all heroes are voted as TANK being the best position. lolā¦all heroes cant be tankā¦ It just srmtruck me as kinda silly. ā¦
. I was thinking right wing as the best position for Chester. Anyone? I have Matilda at LB2 so I might level Chester to 3.70 and see how they work out.
I see slow speed as a hindrance to right wing. Add on the potential for some offensive heroes to already be dead and the target and nearby may only be one or two targets.
As with everything, what else youāve got matters.
That is a reflection of the fact that everyone thinks every card is overpowered now. You would want to put a very strong card like this at tank, especially on defense because of its speed. You are right though, they do vote tank on every new card, this is just one where i agree. If i didnāt put him at tank, he would be at one of the flanks with a mana booster like ludwig, phorceys, or Nautica at tank. On attack almost all cards positions depend on the teams you put around them. On defense if you put this card on a wing, it probably wonāt go off much.
This was so needed for my team. Blue is by far my worst color for everything. Hopefully one of these will help.
Im leveling 3 blue cards right now and all three will start on my mono team when they are done. If i pull 2 more good blue cards i can field a full team that doesnāt stink.
Thanks for the insight. Just the type of info Im looking for. I have many good heroes but Im weak on matchups. Much better thanks to useful info. like your post. yhanks.
Funny that, i pulled Chester and then 3 red: Scoria, Rust and C Gestalt. Since red is my best colour anyhow, i might create a red mono team
As for Chester, love his silencing, but compared to Rust, he seems to be lacking a bit. So red comes first.
Definitely, Chester is a great card for a seasonal card, but Rust is one of the shiny new diamonds they are putting out now. You gotta push rust first. I havenāt pulled Rust yet but im a fan.
