Greetings!

As the topic suggested, I need some help with with my defence team.
I am now running Kingston - Isarnia - Onatel - Anzogh - Evelyn.
As you can see I’m going with 2x green, since I don’t have any maxed 5* purple. I got Domitia, and I guess she is my next one to fully level. I also have an emblemed Rigard, which I guess could be an option since I’m lacking 5* healers?
I’m also wondering about replacing Anzogh with Zimkitha. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Who do you think I should emblem, as you may notice I got 3 wizards in my current lineup…
I would also appreciate any recommendation on the setup(tank, flank etc.).
I can also mention that I got most of the 4* stars available, if you think I should swap them in for anyone in the current lineup.

Alright let’s start at the top!

  1. There’s nothing inherently wrong with running two of the same element on defence… You just want to make sure they’re separated (preferably by the colour they are strong against - blue in this case) to decrease the effectiveness of colour stacking.

  2. I would hold off on tossing rigard in… You won’t gain over-much imo. BUT in saying that, there’s no right defence… Try it out and see how it goes :stuck_out_tongue:

  3. Zimkitty >>>>>>>>> Anzogh… Attack buff, plus dispells plus heal link is the way to go! Plus she’s fast compared to average.

  4. Emblems are a personal preference… If you’re focusing on defence, probably emblem the tank up (Onatel)… I wouldn’t bother worrying too much about that tho… Cups come and go so focus more on embleming the heroes who give you the most versatility

So with alllll that, I would be tempted to suggest:
Left wing: Evelyn (get the debuff and elemental triggering before the rest of your hitters)
Left flank: zimkitty (again, dispells and attack buff before hitters)
Tank: Onatel (most tanky of the heroes you’ve listed)
Right flank: isarnia
Right wing: kingston

Can switch Issy and kingston but I put Issy closer so she’s more likely to charge and fire her special.

Thank you so much for your answer and I now feel a lot more confident going forward.
One last thing, would you have swapped one of the greens for a fully leveled Domitia?

As I said, cups come and go regardless of your defence setup. Experiment, try some stuff BUT have fun doing it :smiley:

Actually, Anzog and Zim are virtually tied when it comes to being tank. Anzogh actually leads out by just a hair after both are fully emblemed. However, it’s not enough to make a strong argument for either one.

It will come down to talents and who you can spend them on.

Yes but I when you have some of these other options available, you wouldn’t really be considering resorting to Zim/Anzogh for a tank.

They’re mainly there as a support/ flank role in which time Zim is far more useful IMO.

Having 2 greens is fine. No need for rainbow.
