I have my own alliance where I play only 
. The issue is now I can’t proceed for epic part of Alliance quest after clearing rare.
Will joining another alliance make me able to access epic part?

Pretty sure you need to be part of an alliance prior to the quest to be able to contribute.

Clash of Knights benefits large alliances and is a less than subtle way of encouraging players to bunch up. Your score alone likely would not have been enough to break the 2.5 mil mark needed for Epic.
Joining a large alliance (who has already unlocked the tier) should help you access the Epic/Legendary tiers (if they are early birds), but your score gathered in your own solo alliance would not count towards their total score.

Okay. I just want to complete the epic and legendary for that one pull since I ftp . The rewards doesn’t matter as I have plenty of everything almost.
Based on my experience, if you really want legendary, you’ll need to be with an alliance of at least 11, with all of them able to complete epic. You get around 900k if you just complete rare and epic. Or a bigger alliance who have a number of players who won’t complete them all, but still get some points in (which is my alliance).
No, if you switch alliances, then you will not able to participate there and you loose all rewards.
Even if you would be able to return to your original alliance, then you will not allow to play there either.

Ah, good to know, never merc or hopped alliances so good to know that switching alliances in the middle of alliance quest forbids further participation in the current event one place or the other.
Our alliance is small with two players being beginners who rarely participate. I join the alliance quest and attack as much as I am able. I’m lucky to get 300,000 points. To go to the next tier (epic) , our team needs 2,500,000. There is no way that we are ever going to get that many points. Is it possible that the points needed to move forward can be custom set to match the abilities of the alliance’s power ? Can’t the points be set lower for alliances like mine? Other powerful , 30 member alliances can shoot for the 2,500,000 while small alliances can have maybe 500,000 points to move on to the epic tier.
i don’t think they’ll fix that issue
the issue is 100% intentional to encourage bigger alliances and discourage small or solo alliances. same with mythic titan, etc, they like to keep players grouped up and grouped up with as many players as possible, it creates the social pressure to spend and helps their sales. that’s really why we have alliances at all unfortunately. increases summons, increases mat/aether purchases, etc etc.
