Hello everyone! I own this folks and would love some opinion on a DEF team formation.
I may reallocate emblems so feel free to tell em any suggestions except embleming Marjana because I dislike her. Also won’t remove emblems from Drake. Also won’t put Miki.
The 5* gang: (only Richard and MokArr are missing because they’re 3^70)

You don’t really have a natural tank, but C. Vivicia is probably your best bet. I’d set her as your tank, flank her with Sartana on the left and C. Lianna on the right, with Miki and C. Aslar in the wings, left and right respectively.
Two slow heroes in corners may not be the best idea, and OP mentioned that Miki wouldn’t be used
You could consider a Yurple defense like
Drake Khiona VivC Sartana Joon
A bit different, and if you want rainbow I’d go maybe
Sartana Ariel AzlarC Lianna Drake
Hmm your main problem is that vela shares emblems with Kadilen so you can’t use both on your defense team.
But vela really shines when paired with a green tank buy Kadilen is your only option here.
So I would probably do something like:
Vela - sartana- drake- cAzlar - lianna (the basic one not its costume)

My proposition would be :
Lianna , C. Vivica , Kadilen, Vela , C. Azlar
Reasons :
C. Vivica needs to be as flank, so she keeps everyone alive for longer ( so. C Azlar can cast)
C. Azlar on right wing instead of left, since his special benefits more if enemy is lower than 50% hp. Him being on right, means he casts special last.
Kadilen and Vela help Azlar bring everyone under 50%.
I believe for future, you just need to change left wing ( Lianna). Drake Fong ( area dmg + blind to keep azlar alive) would be perfect solution, if you didnt have already Vivica on same side (two yellows).
Khiona is almost perfect substitue as well, if her bonus of attack dmg (again for C.Azlar) would be applicable to all. // I believe your wing should be either black, blue or red area dmg dealer at fast speed) // Thoth amun, Reuben, Athena (best with red dmg), Ursena, Master Lepus, Obakan,… // worse but still in same direction : Richard, Thorne,
Other setup to consider I believe is : C. Vivica, Vela, Kadilen, Khiona, C. Azlar. So Azlar gets a bonus of defense down+ attack up (his undispellable burn dmg would be off the charts). Why I still believe my upper proposition is better ,beacuse Vivica goes faster on flank and thats what I see is more important (beacuse you rely on Azlar to finish the job so she has better chance to keep him alive).
But you can try both options and see what works best
