You’d be surprised at how strong an opposing team this 4* team can take down if the board favors even slightly… This is the strongest 4 star team that can be formed around Wilbur + Wu combination, imo.
I don’t have Sumle… I use Scarlett in place of Sumle… The tile damage is just insane.
I think i used this team in the last event. I made sure i had Red tiles lined up with Morgan, ( being green) that high damage was shared across all 3, game over 
Just two more levels on the level 9 mana troop and you can put it on Grazul for six tile charge, which will make a huge difference
I use Wilbur in a majority of lineups including titans, tournaments, events, wars, and world map.
For me, Wilbur shines when I use him in a red stack. For example, a 4* only challenge event I would run with:
The objective is to have Wilbur, BT, Falcon fire their specials first and then fire Wu Kong’s special and then rely on title damage to defeat the enemies.
In other areas of my game play, I bring Wilbur for the benefits of his special, even against an off color Titan because the defense down and shared damage does make a difference on the higher level titans.

As mentioned before, Wilbur pairs well with AoE hitters. For 4*'s, I use Wilbur with Sumle and Colen. Sometimes I will stick a Sir Lancelot in-between Sumle and Colen to help with their slow mana speed and also give them an attack buff.
This is presently my 6th War team and it’s happily eaten 4200 teams. If it gets going it punches well above it’s weight.
Of course it fall flat on its face too but against a 4K+ team you’d expect it. But if I get 6 starting red gems it’s often going to do me a job.
Wilbur, Falcon and Double Sumle is just death if you get it off.
Just wanted to add my voice to the Wil plus AoE crowd. That’s super fun to watch!
You can enhance this with Wu(not too many misses with AoE), BT plus Wil is a classic pair. Timing is crucial.
Li Xiu is nice too, Wil gives her a lot of power.
Yes, stay away from the deduffers! Caedmon will still damage, but only once!
In my alt account I don’t have that much choice, no Falcon, no Lancelot, no Sumle, so I add Scarlett as a third-party if need a red majority. I prefer to run 3 yellows with Wil/BT though. Depends on what you have.
