I am a novice player (started 2 weeks ago). Since I like the game very much (reminds me of Marvel Avengers Alliance with a puzzle twist on it) I got some gems and stuff packages for cheap that enable me to pull x10 either for Holy or, if I understood from the forum, there is a Summon event starting this Thursday (just after the Holy). My question is, which one is better for me? I heard horror stories about Dark Lord, so I would like to prepare for him in advance, but the consensus is that Atlantis heroes seem to be better. I join my roster (some heroes come from Fables of Grimforest 10x pull):
looking at your roster then, I think you’d benefit from going for atlantis. What you need is hero variety and you can get some good heroes from there.
Holly summon also has good heroes, but it’s more likely that you’ll be overloaded with yellow heroes, rather than with a nice balanced selection.
Their your gems but this early you should focus on leveling who you already have. Just those blue hero’s alone need 20 capes(8 for magni and isarnia, 4 for Sonya) and 12 scopes (6 for each 5* blue) plus tons of feeders and other items. If you absolutely think you have to pull more, then I’d go Atlantis as you get better color variety plus you will get a bonus chest filled with at least some mats after a 10x pull. The Easter event isn’t one I’d pull from if you’re looking for variety since there’s only 1 3,4,5 and only the 5 is decent but odds are tiny you’ll get just that. So honestly I’d max what you have, gems don’t expire and events come back regularly.
I personally always recommend going for Atlantis because of getting more for what you are spending due to ascension materials being part of your purchase if you do a 3k pull.
You do not have to do this but when I began, I spent to do a ten pull on every element at least once to have a decent base to begin with. It was helpful then and could be helpful for you too if that is how you choose to play your game.
And if you do decide on the Atlantis pull you might get lucky and find a Proteus there! You said you wanted to prepare for the Dark Lord; I did the last stage with two iffy holy, two bland I-can’t-even-remember-who, and lovely Proteus (after having read here on the forum and gotten the idea from wiser and more experienced players). Mr Nipple piercings saved the day, I just charged him with mana potions and took out the flanks quickly. Dark Lord only fired once.
The heroes you can get from a Holy pull, you can get from TC13/TC20 with patience. The onlyway to het the Atlantis heroes (currently) is from the portal. And there are some top-shelf Atlantis heroes.
The best 4* yellow hero, though, is Guardian Jackal from the Teltoc monthly Challenge, whoch is coming up in early April.
Atlantis is better. With some luck you might get a Hero of the Month or an old HOTM reissued. Better luck would be 4*s. Getting your 4s to 3^60 is more important than 5s (or 3s).
That’s true as well, I completely forgot you could get the 10x bonus ascension material, which you’ll need for your 4 stars and 5 stars. Another point for Atlantis.

This exactly - you also get the chest for doing a 10 pull which will contain some rare asc mat.
So yeah Atlantis is worth the wait.
That being said, there are nearly 4000 Atlantis tokens in season 2.
Anyone that completes season 2 hardmode will come out with Asc Mats and at least a handful of decent heroes.
The other thing about the Atlantis heroes is that you can pick up heroes that belong to a family, 2 or more family members in your group gets a bonus. either attack or defence or mana generation etc.
Okay, thanks a lot everyone. I’ll wait for Atlantis then. It is true that when I looked through elemental pull, there were not too many heroes to choose and given the percentage, I would end with 4x Gan Ju or something, and I need more elements to cover (except Ice). I’ll show up later with the heroes.
One more question: how good is Azar, Jahangir and Oberon? With Azar I was not impressed at first, bit in Raids she is everywhere where I am currently. I started to work on her. Jahangir does not seem that impressive. Same with Oberon.
Where do you get that number? There are 24 levels and 3 hidden(based on stats under avatar that says s2 hard mode and goes to 270 not 240). But with 24, There’s 10 levels. 3 coins per normal, 5 for hard. So 80 per province if you do both. With 24 levels that’s 1920. 27 gives up 240 more. How do you get to 4000? I’ve done all up to 21 on normal and hard. I wish there were 4000 coins. Unless I’m wrong about this, I could be missing something.
Azar is decent for a 3 star hero, mana cut is very helpful for “disarming” a boss or enemy hero in a raid that’s about to pop their special skill off.
Jahangir is okay, and Oberon is mediocre. Jahangir deals more damage with red tiles and his fireball than Oberon does with purple tiles and toxic traps. If you’re going to level one of them, pick Jahangir (preferably after you’re done Azar). Both are slow 3 stars in the end though, but I still use Jahangir in the Rare tier quests.
