More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

I think people overrate revivers in general – theres maybe 1 game in 5 where they actually pull off something great that gives you a spectacular win, but in most games they do very little.
However this card almost gives revive ‘for free’. The 50% heal, passive, bard bonus, and damage dropping at Average speed would almost make this card worth running on their own, and then you get one of the best revives in the game on top. Also the stats are ridiculous, it is incredibly defensively weighted. 320 more defence than attack, really?
I always say I only get new defensive heroes. I don’t know why. If I get attacker he’s way obsolete but if I spawn a new hero it’s a defensive one.
I have a feeling Astrid will be nerfed…
i love my c.cleopatra that heal way more, overheal, protect my team way better and additional heal on protection aliments is just make her top top hiller to me
So youre just going to completely ignore the fact she shuts down the Opera families effects along with Gazelle? That along with everything else she does makes her a GREAT hero.
I just pulled these guys together. I always envyed those players who received 2 featured heroes together. Today I finally did it too. Time will tell if they are really good. Hoping to see at least Astrid on top alliances soon.
All my life, across the spectrum of gaming, (at least the ones that I’ve been exposed to) passives offer a small effect. As it should be, they are an instantaneous and permanent skill.
I saw a whale talking about how bored he was with Raid Brawl because he is only challenged by raiding in the top 10.
And rightfully so, this form of passive is neutering entire swaths of hero types.
Which then transforms the strategy element (the fun part!) of the game into plug and play. Of course that is boring!
If the game survives to the point where there are 100,000 heroes, the casual players will have a hoot.
But only 60 heroes will be viable when competing against alliances that also strive to be full alliances that don’t leave flags on the field. The other 99,940 heroes will fill a graveyard that burns up memory on your phones; just so that you can swipe through a bunch of ads after you load it up. And then plug and play the most recent red button releases.
Grimble was OP against minions, but at least you had to fire his skill. No purple tiles? Then you had better be able to work a synergy that would carry until you could also work the boards.
Overpowered passives have been ruining the game. They have to make a card like C.Diaochan which has passives that ignore other passives. Where do you go from there?
In the Poll for Primary Purpose, resurrection could be an option because she does that very well (and it would have been my choice).
With these passives she may actually be used primarily to block dance & ballad effects cast by the enemy. That IS the reason these two new heroes pique my interest (and irritate/frustrate me too).
Even If it does, it will only be for one (or three depending on timing?) and usually it’s not the 1700 that wins the game, it’s the extra rounds to use tiles and charge specials and get them down to where 1700 matters.
