I have the mats to ascend 1 of these (i.e., I have 9 Tabards). My emblems are pretty low for everything (still leveling up something in each class) EXCEPT for Sorcerer for which I have 718 just sitting there.
Other notes:
I typically play a monochrome team for my Wars/Raids/Season Battles.
I don’t think I’ll change my current lineup of Guardian Panther – Hel – C. Sartana – C. Seshat – C. Rigard for my general attacks.
With that line up and my troops, all get activated after 9 tiles and I’ll usually kill 3 after doing my attack.
So the new leveled up 5* purple will be on my second string purple team or get brought in for special circumstances.
I currently use Hel as the purple in my rainbow defense.
And if it helps at all, here are my other 5* heroes
First thought: if looking to buy a little bit of time, maybe consider finishing Domitia’s costume (even just for the costume bonus %) before ascending another hero.
Having said that, cVictor at Very Fast has nice utility, but Viscaro’s fiends are pretty chonky and while his Special is Slow, being able to throw chonky fiends as a passive is non-negligible when facing minion summoners.
Completely agree with this and also chose (c) Victor for the same reasons. Viscario is nice to have in certain situations but when facing him I don’t feel hes an immediate problem but Victor’s speed makes me consider him a threat.
I voted Viscaro, he is a good tank for VF war.
Victor is to weak in todays meta, I would level him if you have M&M for family bonus. The others are dupes. If the meta would change to yellow tanks. a 2nd Seshat or Sartana with full costume bonus would be great, but thats unlikely. Waterpipe and Eminem (M&M) are the new meta.
As mentioned before, level Domi‘s costume for making her stronger.
I voted for Viscaro, cause he does something new. cVictor is ok, but he doesn’t give you anything your other heroes don’t have (save for the speed).
OFC finishing costumes is worthwhile if only for bonus to stats. Meaning, if you have normal Victor maxed, then do his costume (and Domitia’s). If normal Victor is also at 3/70, he can wait.
I’ll admit, the results so far haven’t been what I expected – which is why I ask these kinds of questions here. I RARELY see C. Victor out in the wild but do see Viscaro semi-regularly, so I would have expected those to be flip flopped. I also thought Morax might get some more love simply for the emblems that I could throw at him.
And I have a few purples I can level up at the 3* and 4* levels, so waiting isn’t really an issue. And right now my level up focus is on Adalinda, so it’d be a minute or two before I focused on something purple.
Very fast defense down comes quite handy, even though it’s not huge and the damage is not great either. I agree though that you should max your C. Domitia as well if she is not maxed yet. Viscaro is more of a niche hero in my opinion, C Victor has general use
