I would’ve used him against him too, but I feel like I need a minion counter too with the superior druid talent, was actually thinking of C Gobbler that only hits target and destroys minion beforehand.

All tough fights today, 4 of which went into overtime. Started seeing a couple of c2Rigards and c2Cyprians in defense, though none at tank.
Won the first 2 against Kitty and cBoril tanks, continuing with 3-1-1 Green-Purple-Red team from yesterday. 3rd match was against a c2Caedmon tank with c2Cyprian and c2Rigard to his right. The Green tank more or less brought cGormek out in attack along with BT. Took a while, but finally managed to win in overtime.
4th up was a fairly passive team of c2Rigard - Junaid - Azmia - cKashhrek - Ahhotep. Went back to 3 Green and maybe should have used cMelendor instead of Brontes. Got a board with minimal Greens, and though managed to survive into overtime with Caedmon and cKelile’s minions, couldn’t prevent the loss.
Last match was the most frustrating. Defense was cFura - c2Kiril - Rigard - Shar’Khai - Ahhotep. Underestimated both cFura and Shar’Khai, and spent too much time trying to kill the level 80 tank. With the shark’s attack and crit boost, the slash attacks really hurt especially coupled with cFura’s healing down ailment. Before I knew what happened, both my healers were dead and though I lasted until overtime again, it was a torturous zero. Next time, I’m bringing more cleansers and dispellers.
Defense is at least hanging on to A (9-5) after finishing Day 1 at 5-2.

I also tried him for m’y regular défense, but hé was too strong, I stayed AT around 2800 cup, that’s too high for me…

these last tournaments im getting my ■■■ knocked around. Boards dry up, full lb2 teams, out on a Tuesday… this week was no difference. Plus everything thats been going on with the game, I am just fed up. No fun in playing it, just frustration. Been fun until it wasnt.

I am continuing to run Zhou Yu-ccGormek-Mielikki-cMelendor-Marcel (Zhou Yu is the only 2LB) and having good success. My loss came against this team when I couldn’t get the tiles to dispell Ferrant.
I got a great board against this team and still barely stayed ahead of ccCyprian. He is tough. I’m not sure why their ccRigard was not in costume! CcCaedmon is really a pain in this format with his buff blocker.

I thought 2 matches I was surely going to lose. The first one I thought I was going to lose had 4x Healers and Maheegan. One of those extremely slow matches that drags out but I somehow won.
The second one I thought I was going to definitely lose (my 5th match) was a 4,968 team with all 5 heroes LB2 (cb2Boldtusk / Azmia / c2Caedmon / c2ferant / c2Anton).
That was genuinely a tough one but I won to my extreme surprise!
My defense is weird, Day 1 it was attacked once and lost, but each day since it has skyrocketed to an A

Despite 2 losses to end Day 2, didn’t get easier opponents today at least TP-wise. Fortunately, boards were generally good and no c2Cyprian or c2Rigard tanks. Switched cMelendor in for Brontes for a heal all + dispel with both tiles and SS. Worked well in the first 4 matches with easy wins.
Of course, 4 straight wins brought me back up against a 4985 TP team. Another level 80 cRigard tank and after yesterday 0 loss, decided to risk a 4 Green attack, replacing cKelile with Hansel. Naturally, got a lot of Red tiles 
Managed to kill the tank, but the flank c2Caedmon just kept firing due to cascades.
Defense has been hit a lot and the A has quickly fallen to C. Will be tough to get to top 5% this week.

D - 14-4 (A,A) 77.7% - what, so many attacks already, last time I checked before it was 8-2 few hours before day 2 ended.
Yet to face c2 Cyprian and another c2 Rig (no, don’t want to face him again lol), but I’d like a challenge to try c2 Cyprian tank even if it ends poorly.
2 green, 2 blue and only 1 purple tank today, it was C Rigard LB2, only first costume, phew. Nothing really noteworthy, the defs were not particularly difficult and all my heroes survived every game.

Go with same tactic in 1st to 3rd attack then change to red stack instead of green stack in 4th and 5th. No C2 Rigard or C2 Cyprian tank today 
. The board is average by overall.
4th is against this team
Go with CB Rigard - C Boldtusk - CB Kiril - C Kelile - C Gormek. The board is average but all 3 enemy sniper fire at my C Kelile and kill her. Pretty sad that she doesn’t summon any minion. If she do, I think she can survive . So, I have to fight with 3 healer + C Gormek. It is very long battle but I manage to kill them one by one and win without losing any more heroes

5th is against Cup cake + x4 S1 healer defense with CB Rigard tank. Decide to go with red stack because red stack is good at fire power. Win without problem.

I’ve lost 3 times to a C2 Cyprian flanked by a C2 Rigard. There’s nothing to do other than getting lucky. Cyprian charges too fast which makes him and Rigarf charge faster. There’s no way to dispell fast enough, even with multiple dispellers, including advanced talent to dispell with tiles and C2 Caedmon for buff blocking because of Rigard. Maybe it’s Jabbar’s time to shine? Undispellable 75% heal decrease (even if it’s only 2 turns).

Got more C2 Rigards, but they were on wings. I fought first time with Shar’khai, didn’t really know what he does. After he fired, I dispelled all these buffs with Sabina, and that’s all. Nothing interesting today.

I had some very tough teams today but my boards were good - not amazing, but definitely not terrible.
2 of my matches went to Tiebreaker. Multiple healers + Caedmon with druid class and his beefy minions which seem to spawn every time I make a move.
I used the same team for all matches today
cTiburtus / c2Caedmon / c2Rigard / c2Proteus / Melendor
Only rigard is LB2, the rest are only LB1

Oh, I am amazed that I manage to stay undefeated even in day 4 .
Today is day of my red stack . I use red stack in 1st to 4th attack. All attack are pretty bad board but manage to win in tiebreaker (except 2nd attack that I win before reaching tiebreaker).

Go with C Sabina - C Boldtusk - C Keilie - Cillian - CB Melendor. The board is full of yellow and purple. Enemy C2 Caedmon tank fire twice on my Cillian. My CB Melendor somehow never summon any minion. So, he die. Then I manage to kill tank but another C2 Caedmon at left wing fire at my Cillian again. Cillian did survive with about 100 hp left but he die from a critical slash with Jinx active from enemy Kiril . Leave me to 3 vs 4 situation. I think I am going to lose but then I get big red tile cascade which kill both enemy C2 Caedmon at left wing and Kalo. The only remain enemy are those 2 blue healer which I just can’t kill them. So, I have to play until it reach tiebreaker and use the bonus damage to kill them .

Go with C Sabina - C Boldtusk - C Keilie - Cillian - CB Melendor (same as 1st attack). The board is better than 1st attack but still have few red tile. The C2 Rigard tank fire twice before I can kill him. Then I kill both flank but then board dry up. My attack team is designed to counter C2 Rigard tank and C Grimm flank but not for both red wing because I can’t cleanse. So, as the board dry up, enemy C2 Colen fire on my C Boldtusk. C Boldtusk is fine because he withstand enemy C2 Colen’s def down against fire. But my both C Sabina can’t C Keilie. The enemy C2 Colen’s def down against fire is so powerful that it make slash very painful. C Sabina die in single slash. C Keilie try her best but she die from enemy C2 Kelile special skill + enemy C2 Colen critical slash. The board dry up so long that enemy C2 Colen fire 2nd time on my C Melendor and almost kill him. Luckily, the red tile is back and I manage to win. Another close battle .

Go with C Sabina - C Boldtusk - C Keilie - Cillian - C Melendor. The board is worst for today. But thank to put Kalo as tank, so he give me more time. The Kalo tank fire twice before I can charge anyone. It take so long times that some of me heroes almost die from slash . Then I kill Kalo tank. It take another long time for me to kill enemy CB Cyprian since his super paladin passive keep heal himself. Right after I kill enemy CB Cyprian, I reach tiebreaker . It is another long battle than I win with tiebreaker .

Go with C Sabina - C Boldtusk - C Keilie - Cillian - CB Melendor. The board is like 2nd attack that have some other time but few red tile. As I use red stack, I focus one killing enemy C2 Caedmon. Luckily, I get some red tile under enemy C2 Caedmon and manage to kill him right before he fire 2nd times. Then the board dry up again. Enemy Junaid with C2 Rigard and CB Boldtusk buff fire on my C Kelile and almost kill her. Luckily, she have enough minion to survive and build the minion back rapidly . Then I kill that enemy Junaid. It take long times to kill the remain enemy. Reach early tiebreaker at the end .
After I manage to win all those hard battle in 1st to 4th attack, the game give me a reward by giving this opponent as 5th attack .
So, I switch back to green stack. Go with C Sabina - CB Melendor - CB Kiril - C Caedmon - Hansel. The board is good that I charge my green and kill tank right before he fire. So, win without problem 
.

Defense somehow don’t get any more attack from yesterday but still stay in A.
With this result, I am at the top of the leaderboard now. I hope I will get my 4th 25-0 medal .

Seems like the tournament is enjoying giving me one not-so-good board every day. Today, that came in the 2nd match against an Ametrine - Xiahou Dun - Kitty - Mielikki - Zhou Yu team. With so many minion heroes, attacked with Caedmon - BT - cKelile - c2Rigard - cGormek. cGormek didn’t get the chance to eat any minions before he got killed. After that with Kitty’s health boost and multiple layers of minions, just a slow death. Maybe I should have brought a 2nd minion killer in CoD… That was loss number 4, but was always going to buy back since tournament hits make PoG challenges much easier to complete. The other matches were easy, though one did go into overtime.
My Defense continue to be popular, flipping between C and B with almost 50 hits on it now.

Will this be another 4* tournament with cursed top 200 finish for me?
Faced 2 LB2 C2 Rigards today, went against both with blue mono and won .
Went against both defs with CC Kiril, CB Grimm, Xiahou Dun, Azmia, C Sonya.
I preferred mono with health booster and better counters than risking red one for tile damage against 2 C2 Caedmons.
Also this def I was weirded out to see regular Rigard with 2x CB and 2LB on wing. What a waste. Why Melendor tank? I don’t get it, he is literally the worst healer tank from S1 heroes, well one of the worst, only Sabina is worse or similar.
