I don’t know but my hand is eating for the $109’99 euro!
What to do ?Or wait for Christmas:thinking:
I went ahead and got a 5$ one, there was a 1$ free offer in the Google Play store, also Black Friday related maybe? So, the 20% off appealed to me further
I don’t like when I’m called a kid by an old dude xD And that’s because I’m also an old dude.
@Rook Very informative link. I’ve read some people get violent during Black Friday? What’s up with that
What is it, exactly, that’s supposed to be disrespectful about the term “Black Friday”? Does it have another, unsavory, meaning in other cultures/traditions? Or is it something religious?
Cause the ROCKS! All the deals suck, whales suck, i hate you ALL!
The two cheaper deals are essentially just booster packs with a slight bonus of gems. Patience can win out here, imo. VIP, Atlantis, and Challenge event deals are a better value for me.
I don’t ever buy the $100 packages, so I’m not a good person to ask about its value.
Yeah, it’s another name for Good Friday (aka Holy Friday, aka Great Friday) – “a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary”.
A rather obsolete name these days.
And we can eat fish those Fridays, or something like that…
Every time I see these “deals” it makes me more and more happy that I changed over to be F2P about 5 months ago. I truly have more joy in the game now, and these offers don’t even tempt me anymore!!!
I thought Good Friday was the Friday before Easter? Not sure why it would be confused with Black Friday, as they are totally unrelated except for the fact that they occur on a Friday.
Yes.
But that Friday is – or rather, has been – known by many names – including “Black Friday”.
I agree.
Wars are great.
Winners, and losers, only get 104x ascension item roll per year and this roll appears to be based off Mystic Vision.
Wars are great for 3* / 4* battle items, 3* / 4* ingredients, iron, and s few other drops.
The tourney odds for 4* ascension items really shows you how common the Devs want 4* ascension items. Same for emblems and costume keys.
Agreed @Mr.Sabaton . There is nothing Black Friday about this deal. S.G. just using a catch phrase. By the way, I was listening to Sabaton earlier today
As for the deals, I look at “deals” vs. the normal cost of gems. I took advantage of the $5 usd ones and it gave me enough gems for an additional 10 pull for Christmas as well as all the 3* trainers got my Guinevere & Miki maxed and Isarnia a boat load higher. This “deal” made sense for me.
The emblem “deaI” I don’t get. $60 for 30 emblems of each. I understand the name of the game is accumulation. However, 30 emblems won’t take a 5* up one level in emblems. If I’m spending $60 bones I want to be able to use the product now, not after another 3 trials. Spending cash and sitting on mats is rough enough, I won’t do it with emblems as well.
$100? I’d want more 3/4* ascension mats.
Well, add this to the “learn something new every day” files. I never knew that.
I got one of the middle tier offers, then decided to just wait for the December seasonal daily sales.
ZERO Tomes here…
Think of it this way… Let’s say SG decides to limit the deals as follows:
$5 deal - 100,000 total available, you can buy up to five per person
$20 deal - 25,000 total available, you can buy up to three per person
$100 deal - 5,000 total available, you can buy up to two per person
Here’s the kicker. Those amounts are split up evenly between 500 “Zynga stores” spread throughout the US. Some larger cities (e.g. LA, NYC) may have five or ten stores, while more rural areas may only have one store within 50 miles. Each store gets the same number of deals. You must go to the physical location and purchase the deal(s) in person. Not only that, but you have to pick up a physical card from a display rack in the store that you can then redeem in the game to get the deal. The stores open at 4am. When you arrive to the parking lot at 3:30am, there are about 175 people standing in line outside the store…
Let’s say that you’re interested in the $20 deal. But doing the math, the store you’re at only got 500 of them to sell. If there are 175 people in front of you in line, and everyone wants to get the max of three, that’s 525 deals. If you wait in line when the doors open, you’ll be stuck going home with the trainer deal instead of emblems. Your +14 Seshat is going to be pissed when you come home with trainer heroes instead of ranger emblems for her little minions.
So your options become:
- Offer to pay someone in front of you $50 a deal if they’ll sell you their three deals.
- Pay someone to cut in line (which is probably going to start a fight).
- As soon as the doors open, trample the people in front of you to get to the display rack.
- Make your way into the store and find someone who was able to get the deal you wanted. Rip it out of their hands and prepare to defend yourself.
- Call in a bomb threat at the SG store to clear out the line.
So you either secure the deal by paying a premium on top of it, or you end up spending the rest of the night/morning in jail until your old flame Delilah comes to bail you out because she happens to know one of the guard(ian)s. Just wait until Seshat sees you getting out of her car, and then you have to tell her you don’t have the emblems, either…
Omg - you’ve painted a very vivid picture. Yikes!
I dont know anyone making $7.25. Its just a measurement. You wouldn’t take anything less than $20 in the US, but some people in Canada, UK, Australia, probably wouldn’t take anything less than $30 US. People from The richer Arab countries would laugh at $30 an hour. I understand the price differences
