I’m pretty happy with the setup, but I’m still having second guesses of whether I should replace 2C Gormek with Mist and/or rather use 2C Caedmon instead of 1C Caedmon, but I feel like cleanse is required because people will be attacking with a lot of debuffs because it’s bloody battle. What do you think?
I have a few different options I want to do for this, but I have settled on:
Team Power: 4,520
Waddles / Caedmon / c2 Li Xiu / cSonya / Scoratek
Waddles has no LB at all, I still need 5 Aether I.
Caedmon has 2 costumes and he is LB1.
Li Xiu has 2 costumes and is LB2
cSonya is only 1 costume and she is also LB1
Scoratek is also LB1
I want Bellrive in there but I like the other 3 yellows, so it’s difficult.
I can’t be bothered to overthink it, so I will stick with this and see how good or terrible I do haha
I personally think 2nd costume is a bit more dangerous than regular version, mainly because of superior dispel talent chance to counter LB2 Shrubbear’s taunt. Just my opinion, of course.
Going with this. I don’t expect great results, as my double costumed Li Xiu has no LB yet.
Also double costumed Kelile is waiting for next aether quest.
As you can see, the opinions are divided, because I would choose the version with a counterattack that cannot be healed. Additionally, I’m more afraid of cutting everyone’s mana after a large cascade than silencing three heroes (5* Miki is also not great in defense - two cleansers far from each other effectively eliminate this effect)
I’m usually the one saying that! This tournament fits some of my favorites well-unfortunately I probably won’t get to use this team on offense with all the holy heroes on defenses.
Day 1
O: 5-0
D: 1-1 B
The first day of the tournament passed without major problems, but as I always say, the real fights start only on the second day…
My team against c2LX this week is Hansel - cSonya - Shrubbear - cCaedmon - Waddles. Won against a level 75 c2LX tank the previous match, but not so lucky this time. She fired multiple times, and though cSonya and her minions survived for a while, it was just to get some consolation points.
O - 5-0
D - 0-0 If it finishes 0-0 day 1 again, I’m gonna complain to devs lol. I mean yeah still better than 0-1, but it’s getting old. It happens too often lately.
Faced 2 yellow tanks so far. 1 Bogard and regular Li Xiu. Shrubbear blocked first time they charged. Then they didn’t fire anymore, cause I had pretty okay boards.
So far so good, using mostly 2LB Waddle—2LB 2c Li Xiu-LB Bogart-2LB Zhou Yu-LB 2c Gormek, but I can decide if I should stick with my guns against holy-heavy teams. It worked fine against a C2 Li Xiu tank, but she was the only holy on the team. I’ll probably have to decide tomorrow.
First 3 attacks were just warm-up with no yellow tanks, no LB2.
4th team:
Ok, still not yellow tank , so went with 4 reds and mighty Shrubbear.
Last one:
Oh, it’s started I went with my reds (as it is my strongest colour team and all are 4*) and of course Shrubbear.
Killed duck with tiles, then was the fight Li Xiu vs Shrub. Li Xiu was silencing Shrub, but Shrub was ready for her next firing. Luckily, she didn’t silenced anyone else, she was dispelling but only during slashing. So good timing with Shrub and I managed to kill them all.
