Well, day 2. 3-2. First 2 matches were horrible. No matches at all. first one a big 0, second on at least got the tank during the last massive cascade. other matches also had horrible starting boards, but at least those turned in time.
Defense lost 1 yesterday. If I look at the leaderboard, I should have taken Ferant in tank and not flank…
Hopefully it will win a few tonight.

It looks good, but my team (cMelendor, cCaedmon, cKiril, cSonia, Sonia) just ate this defense alive 
Good tiles in the right time I managed to kill Ferant before he fired - everything was simple from then on…
and I really like defenses with Franz

When you face many healer defense, you should use x3 dispeller (Caedmon, Sonya, Sabina) team. Unless you “really” get only Red and Yellow, you will not lose. Any yes, don’t underestimate Wu Kong

I remember someone in this thread actually accidentally put normal Wu Kong next to Brynhild tank as he want to use costume version but the titan trick him 
. It turn out that he get grade A defense for 5 days .

My first match had cTibs as a Tank, and Frank as right-wing, Frank went off multiple times and he ultimately ruined my entire team.
The second I lost to was Ferant tank again, I even took 2x Sonya, but I didn’t get any blue matches before they killed both of my Sonya, and then ultimately I suicided 
Defense is at D to E, I don’t dare to look lol.

My first defeat was against
The duo Azmia+LiXiu were weighing on the result. I had the great combo that killed Kalo and charged all my heroes. Unfortunately Azmia, Tiburtus and LiXiu fired… They caused too much damage to my team and LiXiu has blocked all dispelers. I couldn’t charge any dispeler without counterstrikes As a result my heroes dyied one by one (destoyed by counterattacks).

D: 1-1 (5-2) A The 3:2 Dark-Holy stack is holding it’s own, though I am kind of wishing I had the nerve to put Wu Kong in
I faced Ferant, Kalo, and Franz tanks, but actually had the most trouble with a Boldtusk tank for the second day in a row. Franz is definitely not a great fit for tanking here (I almost set him as my tank and am glad I didn’t). Kalo is a little tougher (pun intended) with his stoneskin, but some careful use of off-color tiles took care of that. Bellerive’s stoneskin saved him (and likely my entire team) against a c. Wu Kong special-I haven’t gone anywhere without him this tourney.
I’m running a 3-2 with Bellerive-Mist-Gulli and then either c. Mel and Marcel, c/cb Sonya and c Grimm, or C. Rigard and c. Tibs.
Oh, and when did Gulli’s costume come out?!? I ran into one today and did a double take.
I’m sitting at 363 and would like an honorable mention here, because I don’t think I’ll ever see higher than that!
