Log & Guide to Raid Tournaments

Go with Faiez - Shrubbear - Zarel - Ribbit - Joukahainen/Rekhetre/Helo/C/CB Kvasir. The 5th position is depend on overall enemy team. The is the first 3* rush tournament of my LB2 Ribbit. He is amazing. With Zarel, he can fire in 6 tile. It make me much easier to kill those tough LB2 healer. He will be my main firepower when Treevil isn’t allowed.
With Treevil and Greel unavailable, took some time finding the right attack team. Zarel - Joukahainen - Faiez were the backbone and mixed and matched the remaining 2 spots.
First match had a Dawn flank to a Poppy tank, and used Noril and Kvasir. Noril with one stack will charge in 6 tiles with Zarel’s bonus. Couldn’t stop Dawn from firing, and took a while to wear down the defense.
Second match was against an easier team with a Friar Tuck tank. Switched Jaco in for Kvasir to steal all those mana.
Next was a double Waqas team. Countered with a 3-2 attack of Zarel - Joukahainen - Faiez - Helo - cUlmer. That team worked well enough that I continued using it for the last 2 matches as well.
5-0 start but no full LB team yet. That will change tomorrow. Will probably give Ulmer the 2nd LB as I use him in Challenge Events too.
Was going to give LB2 to cUlmer based on yesterday’s results, but while scrolling through my roster finally remembered that I have Nordri’s costume at level 50. He’s a monk so with Zarel’s bonus, charges in 6 tiles as well. Got him to 55 and then 60 since I will use him in more places than cUlmer.
Attacked the first 3 defenses with Zarel - Joukahainen - Faiez - Helo - cNordri. Had a bit of trouble with getting tiles in the 2nd match against a Felton tank flanked by Zarola and General Yin, but Faiez survived with minimal hp and got the boost in for the others and cNordri + Joukahainen back-to-back does high damage against non-healers.
Faced Basil tanks with Dawn flanks in the last 2, and switched Kvasir in for Helo. Got the yellow tiles for the bee guy to block Dawn and also put up some meat shields to absorb the reflected damage. Once Joukahainen fired and blocked Basil’s specials, they were easy wins.
Defense is doing a bit better than previous tournament at 3-1. Hoping that continues.
After facing all level 60 heroes on Day 2, Day 3 started with 2 relatively easy defenses of 3400+ and 3600+TP. First had a cKvasir tank and second had a Dawn so went back to a 2-2-1 attack of Zarel - Joukahainen - Faiez - Kvasir - cNordri. Had a good amount of Blue tiles, and cNordri + Joukahainen do a combined 800-900 hp damage, enough to cripple most non-boosted level 60 heroes. When not facing a minion hero in defense, switched Helo in for Kvasir.
The only trouble the whole day was in the 4th match against a Zarola - Jaco - Planchet - Felton - Bagreg defense. Went with Helo instead of Kvasir and got a bad board. Planchet and Felton both targeted Faiez and took him out before he could boost. Was resigned to a loss but, by a stroke of luck, Zarola and Bagreg both fired at the left side of my attack. Jouka survived the first hit and his passive kicked in to heal him for the 2nd hit. Got my Helo charged to heal, and with no healers in defense, managed to turn the match around.
Defense is also doing good and continuing to hold at A (9-2).
Go with same tactic. The board is average by overall. Struggle a bit in 2nd attack against Felton tank with double Dawn flank. I decide to go with x2 CB Kvasir in that attack. The board is bad. Tank fire 3 time on my Shrubbear and kill him before I can charge anyone. Luckily, x2 CB Kvasir is very effective against double Dawn flank and make their skill useless. Win without losing any more heroes.
Contrary to what I suspected, I still haven’t been eliminated from this tournament My current attack score is 12-3. So I’m all wounded and bleeding, but I’m alive
The defense, however, is still partying and currently maintains a balance of 13-0
