This is little off topic but i didn’t want to make a new topic. We all know that the developers nerf heroes afterwards. Like Athena. But do they ever make heroes more powerful afterwards? If so, what heroes have been improved afterwards?
Thorne, Leonidas recently. Maybe more
1.14:
- Rumpelstiltskin: Increased Skull special damage from 255% to 270%
- Boss Wolf: Increased duration of all status effects from 3 to 4 turns and increased enemy mana reduction from -24% to -34%.
- Sargasso: Increased special damage from 345% to 355% and increased reduced healing on enemies from -75% to -80%.
- Elkanen: Increased healing received when damage dealt from 33% to 38%.
- Quintus: Increased special damage from 260% to 270%.
- Guardian Kong: Increased special damage from 210% to 220%
- Kelile: Increased burn damage from 306 over 6 turns to 360 over 6 turns.
- Gunnar & Kailani: Spirit Link’s defense buff split into a separate status effect.
I’m not sure of the others, but Keilie’s buff was noticeable in play.
Cool… so they actually do this. Nice to know. From Where can i see if hero has been modified? Do devs mention somewhere what heroes they’re about to nerf/improve?
It was off topic…it now has it’s own topic
2 weeks late, but I might as well answer.
The notes for buffs and nerfs are posted in the official patch notes. No real easy place to find that information without going through each patch’s notes individually.
They usually test these changes in beta before going live, but I wouldn’t use that as gospel. A lot of things that are tested in beta never make it to live or are changed from what was tested.
Also, I can recall that both Kadelin and Domitia has had decent buffs since their release.
Domitia?! Cool, i just maxed her 15 minutes ago.
Yeah, she used to only dispell from the target. Now she does target and nearby. Gave her some much needed utility.
