Is it me or does it see like when raiding the tiles are always crap. I have a decent team and loads of players but every team i take in seems to get the worst boards ever and this has been happening for a week now. I’m loosing to teams that are 500 or more lesser than mine.

One day cool, other day bad.
One day easy 2600 cups from active and passive attacks, other day losing 400 just to incoming attacks.
It’s just random…
Since bad boards will have a higher impact on the mind due to frustration, it inclines to say always… but objectively it isn’t.

I have a decent team
When you say TEAM singular, I’m going to assume that you’re a fairly new player who hasn’t yet started colour stacking.
There are a few threads that I’ve found to be very helpful in improving my raids
I’ve read several raid strategy guides which were written by players who have an abundance of strong heroes to choose from and can customize their battle team to the enemy. If you are like me and really have only a single team that you can work with, then these tips are for you.
Tip #0: Why are you raiding?
Well, obviously, to fulfill the Wanted Heroes mission, but there are two more reasons to raid: first, to gain cups. You get more food and iron loot for completing the mission in higher l…
Having good heroes is important, but knowing how to use them is even more important. A well constructed team of maxed 3*, through complementary specials and appropriate placement, will have enough synergy to beat a haphazardly built team of maxed 4*.
In order to get the most out of your heroes, there are a couple basic principles to remember.
Like buffs don’t stack. If you have an attack buff active and you fire off another one, it will override the first. If there is an attack debuff acti…
Since it’s the season of giving, I thought I would share a technique I use to successfully raid, on a consistent, daily basis, players that are 300, even 400 power higher than me. This technique uses a 2-2-1 setup, or for those not familiar with the terminology, a raid team consisting of 2 heroes of one color, 2 of another color, and 1 of a third color.
Here is my raid team:

This technique is extremely powerful. With this raid team I have beaten several pla…

We’re going to need some more piles soon…
@princess1 shared some helpful advice, I’m going to see if this can be a useful thread in Gameplay Help & Tactics for personal advice for @IpluribusUno .
If it doesn’t get legs, I’ll add it to one of the piles.

Been playing for almost 2 years now and I do have a lot of cards. I do, but it’s been real bad for a week now. It’s really been bad boards all the way.
please add emoji to title
I get the frustration… I had a bad war last time. My maxed 3 star teams got more points cleaning up, than my maxed 4 star teams did trying to kill strong players for the reset. That is not what usually happens either
Bad boards happen. Chin up, and just try your best, or try to change the way you approach a raid or war attack.

You’re getting bad boards as payback for bullying the smaller players.

You may find this thread helpful, so at least you don’t feel alone in getting a really crummy run of luck. This happens to all of us from time to time:
If you’ve gotten a long run of bad boards before, you’re not alone
Play this game long enough, and you’re going to hit runs of bad boards. It’s not because the tile engine is biased/rigged/cheating/bad RNG (we have very good evidence that it isn’t ). It’s because real random sequences exhibit streaks. It’s really no different than those days in real life when everything seems to go wrong all at once. There’s no grand conspiracy; just the nature of true randomness.
Here’s my worst sequence…
