So Iā€™ve scoured this thread and many others in search of the stackability of dodge type specials. All I see is that Inariā€™s dodge and Meridethsā€™s dodges do stackā€¦ But what about Kadilen and Little Johnā€™s costume specials? I havenā€™t seen either of these mentioned, nor are they in the OP guide

Inari and Kadilen share the same dodge buff icon Dodge_Fox, however the minion it summons is different (Inari is a sakura fox, cKadilen is a thorn minion). Since the icon is the same though, that means Inari and Kadilen donā€™t stack.

But actually, now that youā€™ve pointed that out, I will update the table to say that ā€œthe owner has a chance to dodge, and a successful dodge will summon a minion specified by the cardā€ so that it can be more general and account for those two.

Iā€™m assuming Merideth = Margaret, and cLittle John also shares the same buff with her Dodge_Mana . So Marg and cLJ wonā€™t stack together.

However, both of the dodge buffs Dodge_Fox Dodge_Mana do stack together. So you can use cKadilen and cLittle John in the same team with no conflict if thatā€™s what you were asking. Itā€™s the same as Inari + Margaret. For an explanation of how that works, see this topic:

Does anyone know how does Blind and Wu Kong stack? Override? Multiplicative? Additive?

2 consecutive tests so itā€™s multiplicative

Example: Blind 35%

Wu not miss 68%
Blind not miss 65%

Both not miss: 68%Ɨ65% = 44.2 %

So Blind 35 & Wu goes up to 55.8% chance to miss.

So yes itā€™s a good idea to blind heroes which are buffed by Wu Kong.

I just got around to finishing HuTao, and I bring him every time I see Wu on a raid. With a usable board, you almost canā€™t lose.

Bai Yeongā€™s innate resistance appears to be missing from the list: Resist status ailments caused by minions.

The new ninja hero, Jade, has a new dodge buff. Thereā€™s no mana return or minion associated with it, just a plain dodge. The icon is a blue arrow pointing right.

@DaveCozy some helpful remarks

  1. Concerning Draugr blessingā€¦first thing typo (:wink:) and in one of the recent updates the health value of the Draugr was increased from 70% to 100% of the hero.

  2. Hotm resist ability : Kunchen resists the reduced defence against special skills (from Mist)ā€¦Malosi might, tooā€¦but didnā€™t test it so far.

I did a search and stumbled upon this thread and have a question. It also may be a bug (or working as intended).

In a battle with CKadilen, I fired Kage at her to get rid of the dodge buff (at least I think it is a buff). Kage clearly states his first action is a debuff, which, should remove the dodge, then the damage. Of course, since I am here, she dodged it.

This does not make any sense to me. If dodge is a buff, and kage debuffs, why would he miss?

cKadilen and Inari trigger dodge on any skill that affects them. That includes even skills that donā€™t hurt like Melendorā€™s ā€“ they can dodge the dispel and keep all buffs on them intact.

It makes sense why she dodged Kage even if heā€™s supposed to dispel first. And Iā€™m pretty sure that even other dodge buffs (cLittleJohn and Margaret) would still be able to dodge Kage because his skill is offensive. The game checks that first before considering the order of effects in the offensive skill.

Thanks. I guess I am just getting tripped up on the words. A dodge is a buff, so why wouldnā€™t a debuff work LOL. A little clarification as to which supersedes the other would be great as it is a touch confusing.

By the way, conceptually, I get that a dodge should be able to dodge anything, just wish that was perfectly clear for morons like me :stuck_out_tongue:

Bruiser Bro and Heal Reset Defense Down overwrites is not in line with rest like abilities. Is this bug or intentional?

Could you clarify what you mean with ā€œnot in lineā€?

Edit: read again, you mean they donā€™t match other similar abilities.

Thatā€™s because those are undispellable. The heal reset effects (Alice and White Rabbit) canā€™t be replaced with other similar buffs and ailments. Same with Muggyā€™s bruiser bro transformation

But this is not innate property of these abilities.
So, if, for example. Januaryā€™s holy HoTM will have dispellable Heal Reset Defence Down, this debuff, I assume, will be replaced by usual defence up.

Youā€™re not wrong, but since I donā€™t have any other example to go by right now, I canā€™t assume that yet. :+1: I will update the thread if a future hero has the same effect as dispellable moving forward.
