Request advice on how damage is calculated

Request advice -
How is the damage done calculated?
For e.g.:- C Skittleskull deals 175% damage to all enemies.
With C Skittleskull @ 4.70 @ 17, his attack/defence/health are 823/739/1138 respectively.
In this case, how much damage will he do per hero in the enemy’s team?

Thank you, Radar1, sorry to sound foolish - what is theta?

Theta is a random factor in this calculation.
If you attack the same opponent more often you will see that you get different results although the stats doesn’t change.
I think its somewhere between 0.5 and 1.5 but you will find the exact numbers in the link @Radar1 provided.
For convenience just use 1 for Theta, if you want to compare different heroes with each other.

There’s a small random factor to the damage, it’s not always 100% after ATK and DEF is calculated, but between 60-165% (I think from the linked post) of that number.

For example, if you fight against 3 bosses in the Challenge Event with the same DEF score, you would expect a hit-all hero to do the same damage against all 3. But there will be slight differences in the actual damage to each boss because of the theta.

Thank you, Ferg & Liam_K. Think I’m good for my basic comparison requirement.
