Relation of Sif counter attack and ninjas passive

Hello,

can anyone explain how mechanic of counter attacks works if Sif special covers two nearby ninjas. Does ninjas passive potentially proc on top of Sifs counter attack?

In my opinion yes, they should have at least a chance to proc it a second time due to their family bonus…

But if an opponent receives double damage I don’t know…

¨Thats the point. Normally, it should work, but I havent heard any mention of such symbiosis yet
