Here is a work in progress guide for these missions. Let me know if you see anything amiss and I will fix it. There are those stages outlined with the number of bosses featured in parentheses and a few missions that overlap.

you can still play Untold Tales when its not the featured contest, as you can any other map stages. I played the other day.

Thanks for your data vault. From the data, I think 2/5 will be better for clownfish, 4 waves with only 7 energy

I still think 1.1 is better. An additional wave with 3.67 mobs on average (which is shared by the two mobs) doesnât make up for the extra energy cost and the lack of two guaranteed clownfish on the boss wave.

Finished the Bagregs last night, unfortunally only half of the Azure Sea Anemones done.
Didnât found a level with both the Ultrox and the anemones so working on them at Ch 1.8
Will do it the slow way so Iâm finished when the next chapter starts to work on Ultrox and Fishman Sentinels on 5.21

just finished Vile King Crab, doing the Red Crabs mob mission now. annoyed that thereâs no stage combo-ing it with the Manta Rays, but oh well
based on data vault (thanks again @Elioty33 for that amazing data vault!), 3-2 has 5 waves, average 3 mobs/wave = 15, including two guaranteed Crabs in the boss wave. at 8 flags per, thatâs 1.875 crabs per flag
next is 2-2, with 4 waves, average 3.67 mobs/wave = 14.68, including two guaranteed in boss wave. at 7 flags per, thatâs 2.09 per flag âŠ
so iâll be doing 2-2

I noticed Bagreg and Fishman Sentinel are both on 1-11
Also Bagreg and Azure Sea Anemone are both on 4-14
@Zartanis Just politely for your info if you want to add it to your poster as the Fishmen are currently not listed on 1-11 aswell as Azure 4-14

Hello everyone. Please donât get me wrong, but I have a genuine question that Iâve been meaning to ask for a long time. Can someone who enjoys these missions please explain to me what joy do you find in them? I was sooo happy that they didnât release any missions for Untold tales. I do complete the season missions just to have them cleared from the list, but I absolutely profoundly dislike them. I donât see the point in replaying the same level hundreds of times just to get an avatar. I donât even feel the urge to buy loot tickets or refills for this, on the contrary, I keep those for more reward-satisfying events like Atlantis. Also, what does Zynga win if I am replaying some levels thousands of times? I always thought that big spenders donât care about these missions, maybe I am wrong. I also donât think there is time to get bored in this game for the average player, as there are always quests and events (all types, daily, weekly, seasonal etc) and wars and raids and tournaments and paths of adventure tasks and whatever else I am missing. The avatar rewards could be offered a little more simpler, at least have the missions with less enemy requests. 200 bosses needed means I have to play one level 200 times at the cost of letâs say a medium of 10 WE per time - like whyâŠ? Itâs too much time, energy and resources required just to obtain an avatar that doesnât really bring any benefit in the game and I never ever rerolled an opponent because I was intimidated by their avatar. So someone please enlighten me. I truly hope I didnât offend anyone with this and thank you all for compiling the list with the best levels to complete these missions. I will unhappily start working on them.

I find it interesting to do as I have done everything else in the game, all seasons inc normal and hard.
Otherwise there are no challenges

I share your sentiments â avatars are purely cosmetic, and I unhappily farm for them only for completion. I donât find a lot of JOY in them.
that said, sometimes I do find an avatar I like⊠but I will still eventually do all of them just for completion, even if - as I agree - it takes too much time and energy. I usually farm for avatars while completing my monster chest to make it a bit more efficient.
I also agree that there are a lot of other things to do in the game, so even without these avatar missions I wonât get bored

I like it because I like to see the missions tab empty, and anyway I have to spend the worldâs remaining energy somewhere, so why not do stages to complete the avatars? Well, Iâve been playing long enough (6 years) that I donât need any particular item and Iâve already done all the seasons on normal and hard (except for Unheard Stories which I only started with v.60 because I didnât have the avatar quests before). The only thing I need is heroes and they donât want anything to do with me⊠itâs true that I summon little, but luck doesnât accompany me, so what can I do? Trying to keep having fun, which I admit isnât the same fun as it was years ago, but friendships and avatars keep me going.

Perhaps Iâm not what you envision as âthe average playerâ, but I tend to complete the missions because even with everything else to do in the game, if I didnât replay levels, Iâd be leaving a significant amount of world energy unused most days.

I would much rather farm for avatars than play quests for a mana potion or an axe though
