Would be super helpful to be able to remove a building as i built one extra house and now i am one farm short! Its a price for an early mistake.

Thats what i erroneously thoight when i built it. But Nothing can be done with my extra house except leveling and converting it to advance house… I just want it gone!!! Wish my villagers could just push it in the river!
No, no mistakes are possible with buildings. Everyone has the same amount of each basic buildings. On top of that, some can be converted to special buildings (barracks, hunter lodge, alchemy lab and hero academy) but they can be converted back.
My teammates have 9 farms but i can only have 8… i have 3 houses tho wish it was 2 which is plenty for me

Is your stronghold level at 20?! Maybe you are still in the process of base building but everyone should have 4 houses, one of which can be upgraded to advanced.
Its 20 and i have all my advance buildings too… i just want a 9th farm i am always short on ham

Huh, you should have 4 houses then, not 3, unless you left a spot empty of any building. And for your 9th farm, it’s probably under one of the special buildings I mentioned in my previous post.
Did you convert a farm to Hero Academy or Alchemy Lab? The game only gives the illusion of choice on buildings, it forces everyone to the exact same number of each building. Only choice is what you convert to some of the advanced buildings

His stronghold is at 20 so the only special building he’s got is the barracks. Hunter Lodge unlocks at level 21, Alchemy Lab 23 and Hero Academy at 25.

So I messed up somehow on my base, and I think I can’t fix it. It seems I’m supposed to have 9 farms? But I have 7 farms and 4 mines. I have one spot left empty but I can only build a house? I’m always way short on food and I’ve only recently figured out why. I don’t remember converting any farms to anything so I’m not sure how this happened. Did I read it wrong and 7 is all you get? I’m just now upgrading to advanced farms. So that should help once I get that done. Any ideas?

SH is lvl25. I haven’t counted the houses. But I only have 1 forge, AL, HA, etc. I have one empty spot that I think I can only build a house on? Can I could that to level 5 and convert to a farm?
I read the thread you linked, ty. But did I miss where lists a solution?
Edit: I have four houses. 3 normal and one advanced. If there is any way to convert someone to a farm I’d love to. I just don’t see a way.

One of the forges is converted to Barracks and Hunter’s Lodge when necessary. Check if your forges or training camp is converted from a farm by mistake.

Check your HA and AL to see if they were converted from farms.
Do you have a barracks? If so then check that to.
The only way to get less than 9 farms in a fully leveled stronghold is by converting them to different buildings. Don’t panic though, they can be converted back 
.

Easiest way to see where you “over converted” farms is to convert all converted buildings back to original.
It’s fast.
Then assess what you have and reconvert as required to : Barracks, AL, HA and HL.
I only have 1 forge. 3 others became Barracks, AL and HA.
One mine became HL.
