Given the poor rewards I held back a lot on battle items this time. Aimed to just hit top 1% total damage but with less stress and resources expended. Happy it worked out, especially given the subpar loot yet again.
Have a little work to do with hero development ahead of Baba Yaga in 2 months. My last missing avatar.

Well, here’s something potentially disconcerting looking for 2024:

So does this mean that the MT starts with +attack stacks? Or does the family bonus not count as a “when a Hero’s defense is increased”?
[Addendum] So, tried the experiment. Looks like the family bonus does not set off Baba Yaga’s attack stacks. (Any element link that has +def presumably would, as usual, of course.)

It should only apply to buffs/stacks and not bonus which just affect the stats when you start the fight.
I’m less sure how wither/growth impact this

Good to know, I tried bringing a stack with Roughian and … yeah, Baba didn’t start the fight with +att stacks (this now edited into my post above).
I wasn’t sure how formal order of operations works for this and thought, “sheesh, this would be a rude way to get our newly-activated HotM family bonus.”
Thankfully, yeah.
Good point about Growth for +def, though; the wording on MT suggests that it might trigger Baba’s +att stacks, but we know Growth and Wither don’t work like regular buffs and debuffs…
(which I think is not a great idea, but hey)

Max is giving it all, but he’s no Goblin, he’s just a lazy doggy 
Flip (minions do crit damage), buster or franz on spot 1, Flip worked best, Buster is difficult doing the Max thing cause his minions are disturbing the flow.

Olbec’s in-fight base attack = 522
Olbec’s base damage = 50% x 840 = 420
Baba Yaga defense = 1000/420 x (420/1000 x 522 + 420 - 513) = 300 defense
=> Baba Yaga has 300 defense

Nothing much interesting in my loot.
Top 5% both single attack and Total dmg done and top 100 alliance.
Makes a huge impression though how low participation is. In the past top 1% would go up to ranks 15k in MT as well as Raid Tourneys. Now 5k is not safe.

Well I can now finally say I have the full set of MT avatars! Baba Yaga is my least favorite MT to battle and the worst avatar to boot 
But it’s been a long road to get them all so for that I am happy. Top 1% individual loot stayed as bad as ever 
And another strong alliance showing with an increase of over 27 million in total damage.

Very true! (Regarding low participation.) I always check it on my son’s account and this time it was 610,771. I’m wondering if the new reign of Darkfeather will turn more people off. I don’t have him myself and plenty score top 1% without him or Pengi. But I’m honestly not even sure if releasing different MTs would help. I just don’t think the return is there to hold interest for most players. Too many are bored with it.

The days of top 1% total damage are over for me, but still able to get top 1%. Look at the power of buster on my top attack score.

Here’s my team for top damage. I don’t think I’ve ever used 3 epics and 2 rares for a top hit before.
Pengi is no longer supreme. I’ve seen people say in the past that they won’t participate as long as Pengi is the MT meta. Did they come back?
