You’re right. I checked and did the math too. Better than 10 tiles anyway. I could use Zocc more often and it was worth it so far despite the bosses “strong mind” (currently only at level 10 impossible though).
Try this. It will give you an exact amount needed regarding tiles to charge based on mana bonus.
Does anyone think that is normal for Virgil to make more than 1k damage to Alasie with 20 talents and LB only with tiles or for Erebus to make 2,8k damage to Fenrir with 20 talents and kill him with one shot, no matter he has boosted health!? And that happened around level 10 in tower…
I know they called this impossible tower but be reasonable!

I finished the normal tower and got 1 pull: Balthazar
I finished Impossible Floor 5, this definitely feels more difficult than before.
I won’t “try hard” to finish, I will go as far as I can and be fine with wherever I reach. I doubt I will get to another free pull (I think I am at 40 coins)
I finished the tower. Very hard. Heroes used depending on the restrictions
Quenell- hit enemies
LOTL- healing and mana cut
LuBu - fiends and buff blocker
Adalinda - fiends and hit enemies
Winifred - attack down and hit enemies
C Ariel - boost health, cleanse and mana boost
Franz - damage boost and buff blocker
Cleaver - fiends and attack down
Gulli - overhealing
As said before, overhealing and attack down saved my life . The fact that DD and EDD doesn’t work against bosses made it very hard

Congrats @L33tVortex12596 I’m also incredibly jealous lol. I have to stay strong too like @Ugk26, especially because the odds are too low (0.2%) and I stupidly went hard last Styx for Nyx when I should have waited. When Thanos comes it might be worth it then

My normal Ursena is getting a lot of use in this tower versus Nemesis… and riposters like Azmia and Ferant too. And shout out to my double c-Kash and Ptolemy for their overheal!

Finished impossible on Styx. 1,5 million score which is not enough to put me in top 1000. But with my limited roster I was happy I could do it. Hardest level was 19. I don’t do it for the rewards because it’s mostly disappointing but I love a good challenge.

But it’s not impossible it’s jus annoying when you see that one fckn 3* Virgil who is btw healer and protector of the others kill your 5* Fenrir with 20 talents making more than 1k damage with single tiles shoot.

Got an ETT from my monster chest and got a yellow Styx Cyclops or whatever it is.
Is it worth leveling and using over the regular mana troops (I only have all my other ones at +14)
Well, I broke my own promise which actually tainted the summons a bit. I really didn’t want to pull but revival at 9 tiles was too strong to pass up. I also went back to look at Thanatos before I pulled. I feel his first charge is just meh. No boosted healing is a huge disadvantage these days. So I figured I’ll skip him and just go for Charon and do the pulls now. Long winded response but here you go……

Just like waterpipe, he came on the last pull I was willing to do. Grateful for that I guess because walking away after 450 and not getting your target hero hurts, it’s happened to me twice but I didn’t do the pulls all at once as I did now. Still hurt lol.
All that said, I’m going to be honest and maybe this is for another thread……but I’ve been finding it hard to skip some portals lately. The fact I said I wouldn’t pull and then I did, I typically don’t do that. If I make up my mind, I stick to it, it’s one of my favorite qualities about myself. So to break my own rule kinda makes me feel bad. I could justify it…that I was going to pull for Thanatos and just do this at a later date anyway so who cares, but no, I intended not to pull this round. It’s less about the pull and more about the fact I said I wouldn’t do it. Just wanted to be honest about that.
The portals coming so fast make it hard for me to choose because just like everyone else, I want EVERYTHING coming out lol. Prior to the avalanche of heroes I could pull in every portal because of the way they were stacked. Now however, I cannot and it’s been bothering me. As I assume zynga intends and as a result, I pulled when I normally wouldn’t have.
I think the battle item scandal and now this is making me rethink my relationship with the game. Sorry, I didn’t mean to make this about my personal feelings on the pulls but I just wanted to share. I’ve been hanging out with you guys/gals for a while and I wanted to bo honest with where I’m at. You’re all great and I appreciate you all!

Thanks for sharing this Ugk26. I for one can totally sympathize and feel the same. There are alot of Monday mornings where I wake up and look at my banking app and feel guilt for the rest of the week for spending money that could be much better spent elsewhere and like you I find myself reevaluating my relationship because of my seeming inability to not pull even when I promised myself that I wouldn’t. Thanks again for sharing.
