I completed with one repeated level due to bad luck with the insanity â my team destroyed itself and couldnât recover. Just ran my standard farming team, which is close to my strongest rainbow, but not quite.
Drew Gloopy and Februus (who now weakens mega-fiends, but donât know if thatâs enough to level him).
Yeah this was much easier than I was thinking it would be.
I used my defense team which is rainbow.
I did use a few arrow attacks for the mob waves, but other than that very easy.
Vodnik + Cillian for my 2x free pulls.
I am too lazy to think about it, what should I use for autofighting? Just anything fast/very fast to get the counters up?
From the cutscenes, it looks like this quest will be in a serial form. We havenât seen all the Investigators, Cultists, and Elder Ones yet.
For those, who play without music (I usually also), there is a new âsoundtrackâ during this quest.
Can you beat Ludwig triggering insanity with 5%? 
I see that dragon healing doesnât affect the insanity value. Is that expected behaviour? Dragonâs heal is direct.
Somewhere in all these pop up texts it lists exactly, which effects lower insanity and assist Dragons are not on there.
BTW it´s plain silly if I have to read through 3 pop-up books just to play a dumb little event, if you want to call it that, that takes less time to play than it takes to read the instructionsâŚ

They could copy all that text into chatgpt.com and ask the AI to âbetter write it with less wordsâ and it would be better. Zynga has VERY bad writing editors. They write too much and the information is always messed and misunderstanding. Look at the 3x chance portal too. Lmao.

The event is fun but the portal is only not worst than Pick Up a Garbage Summon. So itâs probably the 2nd worst of the game RN [not including old and unfinished season portals].
Summon 1 = Treevil, dupe
Summon 2 = Costume Hansel, dupe
This quest should be a sign to everyone that insanity wars arenât going anywhere. Developers have no intentions of getting rid of that mechanic even though theyâve been told it makes playing their game drastically less fun.
My thoughts about Shadows of the Deep
It is by far the easist event ever developed, the power level for both parts is really low even for new players.
The broken mechanism that counters insanity (which is a broken mechanic by itself) can be easily exploited with some mana potions and tornados.
As usual the summoning odds for me are the worst possible and all Iâve get were Treevil and Goopy.
I really liked the approach on Lovecraftâs folklore: the atmosphere, the gruesome appearance of the heroes and minions, the soundtrack they all fit together really well. This event could/should be transformed into a full season.
One last thing to finish - The new costume for Brogan made me think that Zynga should create a new event - Allmighty Brogan - where we battle against every one of his previous costumes.
I like it too. There were some Lovecraftâs related characters in 4th season (like Strategist from Râlyeh), but I have nothing against seeing them more/again 
Yeah weâve seen those references since season 1 and I thought the final boss for season 4 would be some Lovecraft inspired interdimensional being, instead we got the disappointing Demi-Moreau
They never put any effort on the game when itâs not about offers so Iâm just no impressed at all.
Costume Guardian Gazelle triggering on consecutive casts (with 5% and 15% insanity, respectively) against the boss wave of the next-to-last stage in the quest? I just fled out at that point and restarted it, lol.
I donât understand the placement of the new shadow heroes in the Hero Roster on the bottom bar. I selected only ORIGIN and Shoggo and Cthuwu are positioned immediately after Season 1 heroes but Zavinia, Rashan and Dolores are at the bottom of the list following Heroes of the Month. Weird since 4 of them are Cultists and 1 is Investigator. Thoughts?

I liked. So sad I donât have any insanity hero and couldnât pull any of them
I did a 10 pull and got âfoggâ. He is a legendary Hero, but I didnât Receive any bonus pull.
I expected to get 3 additional pulls.
