I sure didn´t read all that gobbledigoop⌠Figured it´s just explaining the insanity nonsense,t hat´s so silly nobody understands it and that´s why it is 3 pages long haha. Guess it also was that counter thingie, but I still don´t really know what it does in the first part. was too quick to be over to see what it does. In past 2 it turns my heroes into super snipers, and immune to insanity, so thanks, that finished them off right quick.
btw Ludwig didn´t do so well in the early stages, with the alpha taunt he collects insanity too fast, so I could never get him charged at less than 50% insanity, so I kicked him out for fast heroes instead.

So disinformative description of the portal and the chances! It really â â â â â â me off!
Get a proper translator or proof-reader as itâs tottally wrong!
It says: for every LEGENDARY you GET 3 bonus draws with 30% chance getting another legendary. So it could be a 3* or 4* those other 70% of time.
But where are those BONUS draws? There are no! So these are pure lies in the description!
Thankfully I didnât spend any gems on this one but was tempted to do so.
Shame on the game!

As mentioned I had the same issue.
In Fact it should be namend 3 Times a 30% chance for a legendary Bonus pull and Not 3 Bonuspulls with 30% Chance for legendary. (I expected a 3 or 4* in 70%).
Anyway: at the Moment the Bonus Pulls are done in the background without Visualisation. So we Both missed the approx. 2/3 Chance.
Did anyone get an addional 5*?
Edit: Yes, there are some.

Each of those pulls has 30% to give you another 5* from the pool and the remaining 70% chance is you getting nothing (ie. you do not get 3* or 4* hero like I thought, you get no hero at all). So you landed on those 70% for each of those 3 bonus pulls.

Not difficult, but fun (and as everybody knows, Iâm insane because I love Insanity and Ancient Terror wars). I liked this event very much (I played it on my 3 accounts + 1 daughterâs account 
) and I was intentionally charging bosses to watch animations 
There were some interesting things, eg. if your hero become 100% insane between waves, he wonât fire automatically
OK, @Dzibong did it with only 3* 
, so I have to choose something different 
. Letâs start with one of my favourite heroes. No dragons, please. Only mana charging items.

I like this quest. Unlike others I think an effort was put here. Yes, we got Princess Mononoke iteration of Brogan, but otherwise new, cool enemies (mainly in Part II) and notably new and different ominous music 
that I really enjoyed during Part II! That was cool. It was on easier side but I can imagine Toon Isarnia backfiring could wipe your own team out âŚ
Now the bad thing: current Shadow offers are absolutely atrocious, Gems and some useless crap to justify higher cost and no pure Coin offers. Not even "Feel the Xââ had offered Shadow Coins with at least some other type of Coin. I know there is one more day of Shadow offers and two more days for getting something useful from those âFeel the Xâ offers, but so far it looks like SGG wants us to spend gems only (with outrageous cost) on this portal. UghâŚ

My first 10 pull gave me Dolores with a bonus pull of Jana and then Bearnadette. My second 10 pull gave me Mucktus with a bonus of Dolores (again). So I hit 2 of 3 once and 1 of 3 once. With this luck I may try another 10 pull but I will probably wait for the Costume Chamber since Elkanen and Obakan are the featured 5 stars next week and I donât have costumes for either.

Yeah, I know the mechanic now.
But why not to describe it correctly in first place? Players need to guess a riddle in description. Was this done on purpose or what? 
I dunno, but many people misunderstood it, including me. Though it is kinda clear when thinking about it (they donât specify ratio for dropping 3* and 4*).
Also, no Cursed offer gives Shadow coins, which sucks. Coins can be apparently obtained only from quest and that bonus chest. SGG really wants us to spend gems on this one (for that exorbitant price). It is somewhat compensated by getting coins from chest, but still.

Got a reply after reporting this issue with summon portal description:
Mod edit: Suppot answer is removed as posting it is against the forum rules.
In the answer support just said that it is just a chance, and you only see Bonus draw if a background processing resulted in a bonus draw.
The bonus draw only gives legendary heroes.
Its a nice event 
2 summons towards FS and feels like change from the other events.
Also we donât always need unbeatable hard stages so this was good.
Part 3 could be added with more challenging stages but eh we have treasure quest for that

I was going to wait until the costume event to do more pulls but saw I have 108 keys in inventory so I went for it here. I had enough gems for 5 more chances and my first pull was Fosco (4*) and HotM Zed so I went for it. On my 4th. pull out popped Bearnadette, then Hunter and finally Atwood so I hit 2 of 3 again. I have gotten nothing from any of the other portals so it sure seems like âluckâ is alloted as I have experienced this kind of disproportionate success relative to one summon portal several times recently. Whether it is a thing or not remains to be seen and I do not have enough resources to get gems and coins to test my theory so, at this juncture, my experience remains anecdotal. Anybody else have one portal be fruitful and all others barren within a finite timeframe? Inquiring minds want to know.

Edit: My luckâs kinda the same throughout the portals but I tend to get streaks.
I donât like heroes with insanity mechanic, but this quest was fun

It is kind of irritating that we cannot buy coins for pulling in this portal (not until the last dayâs offer). I did use gems (way too many, sighâŚ) to pull for some. Actually, my main aim in pulling in the Shadow portal was to try for Gastille!
I managed to get Abigail (new, and two dupes, sighâŚ), Zaria (new, and a dupe), Prof. Lidenbrock (new! after so long), Xnolphod (costume is new), Reuben (dupe), Melancholia (dupe), and finally on my very last 10-pull (because I ran out of gems), Gastille!
Strangely, I was unable to strike any of the featured (Dolores would be nice!). Anyway, I will not be pulling with gems in this portal ever again. Since I got Gastille, I donât really want anyone else in this portal to use gems. I find the Shadow heroes quite interesting to play with, with the Insanity mechanic, but yet difficult to utilise in general play, so the Shadow heroes per se arenât very appealing for me to try to pull for more.
