The stat boost is unreal for the 5* troops though. I faced few tanks with 3500 HP and 1800 def. That is a lot to handle even for a mono team.

Summong/chest results:
This is extremely thin for 23,400 gems and the chests were surprisingly weak… why do we get so few chests in stock for this summon? 5 max?

Wait, are you saying you faced someone with a lvl 30 legendary troop? They literally just came out yesterday. How tf is that even possible.
Further cementing that I won’t be wasting time on this. It’s clearly a whale’s gimmick, not meant for average players
They are quick to level up, give it 12 4* trainer troops and around 250k iron and it’s done.
Don’t want to put a whale on spot but check out the troops on this one:

I don’t have single troops at lvl 30 but converted lvl 26 (lvled them up thanks to the cheaper food demand update) and then used all free 4* trainers to get single legendary troops to lvl 30 . In a minute basically. So single lvl30 legendary troops is possible even for f2p that have been playing for couple of years thanks to the free trainers they provided. However having second troops may not be that easy but whales have already (as of today) 5x legendary troops at maxed lvl *see my post

I agree it doesn’t make sense. Portal allows whales to have whole team with max leg troops anyway even though it’s class limited. But can we really understand Zynga decissions?
quite easy for SG isnt it? if you want a whole defense of legendary troops do alot of summons - if not? well please hold the line 
Yeah. They do have 5x max troops but just for 2 classes lol. So after 5x portals they can remove it hehe

Mana,Styx and Magic troops still have there place. You’ll notice this when facing one of these new defenses running full 5* troops. 15% - 20% running up against 11%. Wanted to test this so re-rolled to find one of these defenses. Using my Mana and Styx troops the speed difference was noticable and could maneuver around more and pull it off.

Most people in my Alliance reporting only 3* troops from their free coins. 
EDIT to add: One person has now reported a Legendary Troop

Not worth it, you level your troops and the board screws you over with bad tiles. Go figure.
