This class quest is problematic for me, because I never got any of the many Cleric healers. So I have the choice of using Hawkmoon or no healer at all. For easy and medium I chose Hawkmoon, for hard I switched her for a 3-60 Boril.
My team for hard was:
Joon 4-11
Boril 3-60
Wilbur 4-70+4
Leonidas 3-70
Wu Kong 4-70
This team doesn’t harmonize well and against the bosses I had to fire a lot bombs, axes, and dragons. I really need Rigard…
Well, at least I made it and got the precious emblems
I am… rather frustrated right now. I lost. Again. How does anyone beat 3 bosses with 4k health each? WIth an average attack of 100, you’d have to hit them 120 times. Even with bombs and specials and assuming they don’t regenerate or deal 400 damage in a single strike. I feel that after playing for 6+ months and having a decent team I should be winning more. Yet it’s all loose, loose, loose. Seriously, where is the joy in that? Why and how is this RNG simulator supposed to be fun and/ or entertaining? I’m starting to think it’s a social experiment done by some crazy psychology professor to study masochistic inclinations and tendencies in losers.
PS. Yes, yes I know- I suck. I should have used better/ stronger heroes and items. Because those just grow on trees and I picked 3* instead of all of my fully levelled/ ascended 5*. Save your cheerleading for someone who actually cares. I think I’ll take a break for a few days from this “game”. I can promise you this is the 4th and last time I waste 20 energy to attempt the third level on any trial.
Try again with two slots of mana potions, turtle banners and bombs. Each time before Joon is going to cast, throw one bomb and make sure to be covered by a banner, if Kailas buff isn’t active. Try to prevent Tuck from casting with Li and keep your team as long alive as you can. With a little luck of the board and Banes blinding you’ll probably win next time.
And even if you’ll going to lose it doesn’t matter. Earth will keep turning…
Finished the bosses with 5 axes + 5 bombs + 4 dragon attacks + riposte. Last time, my team barely made it to the bosses, but got enough to finished them with carpet bombing. This time it is easier because I had Rigard to put extra heal, still depend on carpet bombing tough.
Sorry for your poor luck Oath…I saw your problem right off…You neglected to take Dragon attacks…You had the axes and the bombs, but left the dragon attacks at home and that is the key…I’m in the process of uploading my videos right now…Look for them, watch…learn…it’ll help on all the areas in the game where you will face 3 bosses
I brought Kialani, Mnesseus, Bane, Li Xiu, Rigard. Li is 4.35 and Rigard is 4.60, others maxed. Mana pots, time stops, bombs, dragon attacks. Had to use all bombs and dragons, 2 time stops, and a few mana pots(to get through the mobs) but made it through all 3 stages. By next time I should have Hatter up enough to bring with but will see. Not my favorite trial by a long shot! Lol Currently just saving the emblems but plan on eventually using them on Hatter and…idk who else. Waiting on better options.
Every trial I check these threads, mostly to help my SO assess what stages they can beat. So, in case it helps anyone, they did stage 2 with a team that I think was around 2250 (did not try the third one).
I can’t access the full team details, but it was something like
3.60 Rigard
3.30 Li Xiu
3.50 Hawkmoon
3.50 Bane
1.1 Mnesseus
I don’t recall the exact item usage, but definitely a fair amount of heal and mana used. Weaponry I don’t recall, but hitting power was at a minimum. They had to grind down on Vivica for a long time, and it definitely wasn’t clear for a while if they were gaining between Vivica’s heals. It took a loooong time. But I was impressed and maybe even a little surprised they managed it.
here was my team. I made a post of how it took me 3 hours to finally kill Friar Tuck, but I won… GanJu and Kailani died by Joon early on in the battle otherwise I think I could have kept Friar Tuck from healing so much.
